Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone players can claim a brand-new Monster Energy skin for free, simply by creating an account on the official Call of Duty x Monster Energy website. The latest Operator Skin for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone comes as part of Activision's collaboration with the popular drink brand, which will continue into Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 later this year with even more rewards up for grabs.

With Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 just two months away, Activision has confirmed that it will once again be teaming up with Monster Energy for plenty of new Call of Duty rewards. Earlier this week, the drink brand revealed the full list of rewards for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on its website. New weapon blueprints, operator skins, double XP tokens, and more can be obtained via codes attached to Monster Energy cans. These codes can then be redeemed on the official Call of Duty x Monster Energy website and turned into rewards, which will then be available in-game on November 14.

Battlefield 6 and Black Ops 7 have taken completely opposite approaches to marketing that leaves both titles in fascinating positions.

Call of Duty Players Can Get a Free Monster Skin

As part of the continued collaboration between Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Monster Energy, players can now get their hands on another new Monster-themed skin for free. However, to obtain the skin for use in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, players need to visit the official Call of Duty x Monster Energy website, scroll down to the bottom and click the "register/login" button. For those who don't already have an account, simply fill in the form and link it with your Activision account to unlock the skin in-game. The account must be created before October 31, 2025, to unlock the reward.

Unfortunately, the new Monster Energy skin won't carry forward to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, as Activision recently walked back the feature after a huge amount of backlash from players. When the shooter was first revealed earlier this year, Activision confirmed that all operator skins, weapon blueprints, double XP tokens, Gobblegums, and more would automatically transfer from Black Ops 6 to Black Ops 7 with the game's first season. However, after fans protested the decision due to the large number of unrealistic cosmetic items in Black Ops 6, the studio announced that only double XP tokens and Gobblegums would carry forward.

The decision to ditch Carry Forward for Black Ops 7 drew a mixed response from the game's community. On one hand, many players seemed to be pleased that unrealistic skins, such as Beavis & Butt-Head, won't be running around in Black Ops 7 lobbies. Other players, however, believe this is an anti-consumer move that gives players less choice in the next game. After spending money on store bundles and Battle Passes, some players are upset that they will no longer be able to make use of their purchases when Black Ops 7 rolls around on November 14.
