Season 4 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone is finally here, but fans are blasting it as the worst season yet, with some even going as far as to call it a "dumpster fire." While the new season adds plenty of content to both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, it seems to have also brought a new batch of bugs, glitches, and stability issues that is causing the shooter to be practically unplayable for many.
After the triumphant return of Verdansk in Warzone Season 3, fans were eager to see how developer Raven Software would continue to evolve the iconic map. Although Season 4 seems to have disappointed much of the community, Warzone's new POI does seem to have been a big hit with players. The Overlook, which is a huge new skyscraper twice the size of any other building in Verdansk, can be found in the center of Downtown. The building is so big that it now occuipies the space where other popular landmarks, such as Burger Town, used to be. Unfortunately, this epic new POI seems to be the only thing fans are pleased about when it comes to the game's Season 4 update.

Call of Duty Fans Aren't Happy With the Game's Season 4 Update
It's fair to say that Season 4 of Call of Duty has gone down like a lead balloon with players. While there are new Multiplayer maps, weapons, gameplay updates, and more for fans to check out, there seems to be a myriad of stability issues ruining players' experience. Reddit user Capable_Bus5444 described the new season as a "dumpster fire," citing UI issues and the sudden inability to see player's levels in lobbies as just some of the reasons as why they are unhappy. However, undoubtedly the biggest issue with Season 4 is the stuttering and sudden lag spikes plaguing Warzone. Twitch streamer MuTeX posted a short example to Twitter, which can be seen below, highlighting the "awful" lag.
Unfortunately, it isn't just Warzone experiencing issues either. As reported by CharlieIntel, Season 4 seems to have caused some serious server issues, as both Black Ops 6 and Warzone players are reportedly experiencing crashes before they can even get into a game. Reddit user RestlessRhys took to the Black Ops 6 subreddit to show a prime example of this, questioning whether or not the update had even been tested by Activision before its release.
Server issues, bugs, and crashes aside, Activision has also found itself in hot water with players after the studio has began adveritising store bundles in Call of Duty's create a class. Following the Season 4 update on May 29, players are now greeted with bundle adverts for every single weapon in create a class, which many have blasted as "greedy" and "shameless."
Fans were also left disappointed earlier this week when the official patch notes for the new season revealed that Battle Royale Solos would be removed from Warzone with Season 4. According to developer Raven Software, the mode was being removed and replaced with Battle Royale Casual Solos, which features a mix of real-life players and bots, to keep playlist options "focused and manageable."
