Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 still has no official release date, but fans can already claim some in-game rewards from select Monster Energy cans. Excitement around the latest Black Ops title is peaking as the days left before its inevitable 2025 launch dwindle, and eager fans can go ahead and get some bonus goodies before it's even out. Monster's special edition Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 cans are out and available in the wild.

Given that CoD follows an annual release schedule, it's clear the game will come out sometime within the next five months, but details beyond that are uncertain. At least one leaker claims Black Ops 7 will release on November 14, which would be the latest release in series history by a day. Those who can't wait that long to get into the game can at least start collecting some in-game bonuses, though.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's Pre-Order Bonuses Are Already Obvious

Like other entries to the IP, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is expected to come with pre-order bonuses, with some particular benefits being very likely.

As reported by Call of Duty news account CharlieIntel on Twitter, fans have started to spot Black Ops 7- themed Monster Energy cans in stores. The special edition packaging comes with a QR code telling buyers they can scan it to get in-game rewards. While the can itself doesn't say what those might be, they're likely similar, if not the same, as previous Monster rewards. In the last promotion, fans could claim six unique Black Ops 6 rewards from Monster cans, most of which were operator and weapon skins, alongside a 15-minute double XP token for each one. After getting all six bonuses, players could keep getting double XP, but could not claim any more free skins.

Fans Can Already Claim Black Ops 7 Rewards from Monster Energy Cans

Presumably, fans can go ahead and scan the QR codes on the new Monster cans to activate the rewards on their Activision accounts to use once the game comes out. There will also likely be a requirement to upload a receipt, as there was for the last promotion, so gamers can't simply scan the QR codes of cans on store shelves without buying them. The special-edition Monster cans aren't the first early promotion Activision has run for the game, either. The company gave away a Black Ops 7 calling card for a limited time for Black Ops 6 and Warzone players in June.

While the Monster cans may give away some in-game goodies, they don't give away the title's release date. Fans will have to wait until the full Black Ops 7 worldwide reveal on August 19 to learn more details about the game and its timeline.
