Activision has issued a response to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 fans who are still waiting to receive their early access beta codes after watching yesterday's COD Next event for one hour or more. While early access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 beta is being granted to those who pre-order a copy of the game, there are numerous other promotions currently available with the same reward up for grabs. Unfortunately, there has been a serious issue with Twitch drops that has left many fans irritated.

The open beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to begin on October 5, but there are multiple ways that fans can gain even earlier access to the playtest. For those who want to make the most of the beta before the full game's release on November 14, the easiest way to gain early access is by pre-ordering a copy of the game, which will grant access from October 2. However, there are other alternatives for those who don't want to commit to pre-ordering just yet. Xfinity subscribers can get an early access code via the company's rewards program, and those who have their Twitch and Activision accounts linked and watched at least one hour of yesterday's COD Next event will also be rewarded with a code.

While it’d require extra work from Treyarch, there’s a golden opportunity for what would basically be a bonus cast member in Black Ops 7 Zombies.

Call of Duty Reassures Fans After Black Ops 7 Twitch Drop Issues

As fans tuned in to watch this year's big COD Next event, it quickly became clear that there was an issue with the promised early access beta codes for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Activision stated that fans would receive a code for the beta, which would allow them to jump in from October 2, if they watched at least one hour of the event and had their Twitch and Activision accounts linked. Unfortunately, players quickly began reporting that while they had received the other rewards, a beta code was not present in their inboxes. Call of Duty has now responded to the complaints and reassured fans that the code will arrive in their inboxes in due course.

As long as fans have linked their Activision and Twitch accounts prior to watching COD Next, it appears that an early access beta code should arrive before the beta begins on October 2. Activision also revealed the full Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 beta rewards during yesterday's event, with players able to reach Level 20 during the early access period and earn an Animated Emblem, Emote, Sticker, Charm, and Operator Skins. While one of the two Operator Skins can be unlocked for all players, there is an exclusive skin only available to those who reach Level 20 and have pre-ordered the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Reveals Major Anti-Cheat Updates

The beta will give fans a taste of what's to come on November 14, but it won't allow players to check out every single map and mode from Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. During the playtest, fans will be able to jump into a total of 6 maps, including The Forge, Cortex, Exposure, Imprint, Blackheart, and Toshin, and 6 multiplayer modes: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search and Destroy, and the franchise's newest mode, Overload.
