Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War still has yet to be properly revealed, and so fans aren't quite sure what to expect from it. While nothing official about Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been announced by Activision, leakers have made some claims about the game that could give fans an idea of what the new game will entail.

According to Tom Henderson, a frequent Call of Duty franchise leaker who has accurately leaked news in the past, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will not have its own, new battle royale mode. Instead fans can expect Call of Duty: Warzone to be integrated into Black Ops Cold War and accessible through the game's menus, just like it is in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This would make sense, especially as it's been indicated that there are plans for Warzone to remain a "constant" through future Call of Duty games.

Warzone being a constant is something that comes from Infinity Ward directly, and so fans shouldn't expect a new battle royale from Black Ops Cold War. But while Black Ops Cold War likely won't have a new battle royale experience, Warzone is always evolving, and so it seems like a safe bet that new content will be coming to it to commemorate the launch of Black Ops Cold War, or whatever it ends up being called, when it launches later this year.

Again, nothing official has been announced about Black Ops Cold War, but leakers have said what else the game will feature. If the leaked information is accurate, fans can expect Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to have a campaign mode starring familiar characters like Alex Mason and Frank Woods. The game will also feature the classic Call of Duty multiplayer experience, complete with some fan favorite maps from the original Black Ops.

Evidently, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have at least four popular maps from the first Black Ops game in the form of Firing Range, Jungle, Nuketown, and Summit. This hasn't been confirmed, but considering how often classic Call of Duty maps are re-released in the new games, it wouldn't be surprising at all.

And finally, leaks have indicated that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a Zombies mode, which skipped the series for the first time in years with the release of Modern Warfare. Whether or not any of this is true remains to be seen, but leakers have suggested that the Black Ops Cold War reveal is happening at the June 4 PS5 event, so we should find out sooner rather than later.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is rumored to be in development.
