Wildcards in Call of Duty open the door for players to create a vast selection of loadouts to suit their own style of play. Wildcards haven't featured in recent releases, but in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, they're back in action.
Designed to bend the rules of loadout creation, Wildcards are available for players during both Black Ops 6 beta weekends, giving players a chance to create builds that range from adding extra attachments to their favorite weapons to extra perks that improve their versatility on the battlefield. Here, find all the confirmed Wildcards appearing in Black Ops 6.

Black Ops 6 Wildcards List
Here is the full list of Wildcards available in Black Ops 6 so far:
- Overkill
- Gunfighter
- Perk Greed
There's a strong chance Treyarch includes more Wildcards for players to use when Black Ops 6 launches October 25, 2024, but for now, these are the ones confirmed to use during the beta kicking off on August 30 and September 6.
Overkill
Overkill grants players the ability to equip a non-melee weapon into both primary and secondary weapon slots, creating a wealth of possibility to improve versatility on some of the larger Black Ops 6 maps.
For example, players can equip the Overkill Wildcard and select a shotgun and an LMG for maximum damage at close, mid, and long ranges. For the ultimate action hero, Black Ops 6 players can also equip a pair of pistols to demonstrate their skills.
Gunfighter
For players who love to maximize the potential of their favorite weapons in the arsenal, the Gunfighter Wildcard is the one to pick.
When equipped, Gunfighter allows players access to three additional attachment points, allowing greater customization and the ability to make some of the strongest builds in the game.
Perk Greed
The third and final Wildcard available during the Black Ops 6 beta is Perk Greed. When equipped, players can select an additional Perk, taking the total from three to four.
This is particularly useful for those looking to activate the Combat Specialty bonuses, in addition to having an extra slot left over to make the most of the benefits from another Perk that may not feature in the same category.
The return of Wildcards in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is an exciting one. With more ways to optimize a loadout to suit a style of play than ever before, expect a huge variety of weapons across each map and game mode.
