The AK-74 boasts high damage, but its handling attributes are pretty poor in comparison to other weapons like the XM4 and the Jackal PDW. The below build aims to mitigate this flaw, boosting both aim-down sight and sprint-to-fire speed, along with improving movement, slide-to-fire, and dive-to-fire speeds. Horizontal recoil control has also been boosted, eliminating much of the side-to-side bounce players may experience across range.

First up are both Assassin and Gung-Ho, which are effective at revealing enemies with high streaks on the minimap and reducing movement penalties. Double Time is another great Perk, as it extends Tactical Sprint duration for improved mobility, along with granting access to Enforcer. For the Wildcard, players can choose Perk Greed to equip an additional Perk of their choice. Flak Jacket is a good extra Perk to consider, as it reduces the damage from incoming explosives.
