The sixth and final season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and the latest chapter of Call of Duty: Warzone introduced a wealth of new content to multiplayer and the battle royale. The arrival of the DTIR 30-06 battle rifle has dominated the Warzone meta, while fresh multiplayer maps have injected one final breath of fresh air before all eyes turn to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's launch.
With Season 6 having a shorter length than previous seasonal updates, players loading into the action are wondering when it's coming to an end so they can complete the Battle Pass as quickly as possible. Here, find everything there is to know about the Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 6 end date.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Players Want This Weapon Nerfed
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players call for one particular weapon to receive a substantial nerf as it becomes the new meta for Season 6.
When Does MW3 & Warzone Season 6 End?
Season 6 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone ends on November 6, 2024. The end date means there is a chance 2023's Call of Duty title will receive a mid-season update, which is exciting for those wanting one final drop of content before they move over to Black Ops 6 launching on October 25.
The final season of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone saw the arrival of The Haunting event, resulting in the return of Michael Myers as a playable Operator alongside a wealth of other themed characters, in-game events, and unique game modes acting as an alternative from the standard multiplayer and battle royale offerings.
When Does Season 6 Ranked Play End?
The sixth and final season of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Ranked Play ends on October 17, 2024, not to be confused with the final end date of the season. The shorter season means players only have a short window to unlock all of the rewards that are on offer.
Season 6 for Warzone Ranked Play is the last to take place on Rebirth Island. Raven Software plans on introducing Urzikstan for the first Black Ops 6 season while fans patiently wait for the long-awaited return of Verdansk.
Will There Be A Season 7?
Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will not have a seventh season of post-launch content. Although there's a small amount of downtime between the end of Season 6 and the launch of Black Ops 6, players will have to wait a little before diving into Treyarch's newest release.
The lack of a Season 7 update doesn't mean Sledgehammer Games will completely abandon Modern Warfare 3. Following the end of a cycle, some developers have added new content to older releases to keep those that have continued playing something new. In the case of Modern Warfare 3, it's unclear if the developer plans on adding new content once Black Ops 6 has released.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's post-launch schedule has featured a wealth of content, much to the delight of fans. With a high bar set, it will be interesting to see if Treyarch can deliver another six seasons packed with content.
