In partnership with Activision, Comcast announced that Xfinity Rewards members will be given access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta will let players try out the game's all-new "omnidirectional" movement system and returning multiplayer component.

Launching on October 25, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 picks up after the events of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and the Black Ops squad's showdown with Raul Menendez in the flashback sections of Black Ops 2. Black Ops 6 will also mark the return of the round-based Zombies mode, and players can expect an expansive multiplayer experience with a classic Prestige system and Theater Mode. Like previous Call of Duty iterations, Activision will host a beta for Black Ops 6 that will help the developers stress-test the servers and find any issues that can be fixed before the game's launch.

Starting today, August 19, Xfinity Rewards members may redeem codes and gain early access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 open beta before it begins on Friday, August 30. To obtain the early access code, users may log into their Xfinity account, visit the Xfinity app or the official Xfinity Rewards website, and select the listing for the Black Ops 6 beta. After receiving the code, users must then log into their Activision account and input their code at Call of Duty's beta redemption website (callofduty.com/betaredeem). Call of Duty fans may select the platform they wish to play the open beta on, and their entry will be successfully registered after all the steps have been followed.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.

The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.

In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.

Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
