Thanks to the recent open beta, eagle eyed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players spot a familiar looking RV that can only be a reference to the hit TV show, Breaking Bad. With the open beta taking place this past weekend for Modern Warfare 2, discovery was a big part of most players game plan as they got used to the new mechanics and abilities Infinity Ward's latest had to offer. In fact, Infinity Ward has been updating the Modern Warfare 2 beta sessions based on feedback and things discovered during the private beta.

While there's been plenty of feedback from fans on things they'd like to see improved such as visibility, UI, and certain controversial perks like Dead Silence, there has seemingly been no shortage of clips appearing online showcasing some interesting things players have seen or done during the beta. Modern Warfare 2 fans have seen everything from care packages crushing teammates, accidental claymore kills, and more. However, even in beta, Infinity Ward has left more than a few Easter eggs for players to discover.

The latest should be familiar to any Breaking Bad fans as the new Invasion game mode map called Santa Sena has a familiar looking RV parked along the highway. The RV with brown stripes, based on the Fleetwood Bounder used in Breaking Bad, is a clear reference thanks to the inclusion of duct tape covering bullet holes on the door. Fans of the show will likely know this vehicle as the mobile location where the duo cooked blue methamphetamine. See more here.

In terms of the iconic bullet holes in the door, it happens in the pilot episode of Breaking Bad after a deal goes south. Interestingly enough, these same bullet holes become a key part of the story in season three, and the design of the duct tape is replicated perfectly in the Modern Warfare 2 version of the RV. Naturally, the Reddit post that appeared spawned a ton of jokes of people pretending to be Jessie or Walt inside the Modern Warfare universe.

While this is a fun crossover nod to Breaking Bad, it's certainly not the first time video games, or those playing them, have made tributes to the AMC show. In fact, games like Grand Theft Auto 5 and Minecraft have been a hotbed of Breaking Bad tributes, through recreating the intro, creating characters based on the TV show, or building the RV from scratch. Ubisoft's The Division even had a clear Breaking Bad Easter egg, with certain characters sporting slightly changed names like Jonathan Pinkman and William White, referencing the lead protagonists in the show.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 launches on October 28 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
