The loadout menu is nearly identical to the one from Modern Warfare 2, but players now have to consider the type of vest they will use in multiplayer matches. Vests determine the number of equipment pieces that may be carried in multiplayer matches, and each vest offers a specific set of perk-like skills in Modern Warfare 3. Sledgehammer Games suggests Modern Warfare 3 players to choose a vest that synergizes with their weapons, equipment, and overall play style.
