Activision has added the previously announced Smile 2 tracer pack to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, just in time for Halloween. The newly added bundle is available to purchase via Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone's in-game item store for 2,400 COD points and includes two new operator skins, two blueprints, and more.
The addition of the new Smile 2 tracer pack is the latest in a long line of new horrifying bundles to hit the Call of Duty store. As part of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 6 update, Activision has included plenty of Halloween-themed cosmetics and events to send the 2023 Call of Duty title off with a bang. From a Michael Myers battle pass skin to the return of The Haunting event, Season 6 is the shooter's most disturbing content update yet, and it'll also be its last as we approach the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 25, with its first season expected sometime in November or December.
After being revealed in a blog post earlier this year, Call of Duty has released its collaboration with one of this year's biggest horror movies. Smile 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to its 2022 predecessor, hitting theatres on October 18 in the US. To celebrate the movie's release, Activision has teamed up with Paramount to bring a truly disturbing new tracer pack to the in-game store. Players who purchase the new bundle for 2,400 COD points will receive two "possessed" versions of Makarov and Valeria with the horrifying smiles seen in both movies, while also getting their hands on some new weapon blueprints equipped with special death effects and tracer bullets.
Call of Duty Adds Smile 2 Tracer Pack to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone
The weapon blueprints included in the bundle are called the Sinister Smirk, which is for Modern Warfare 3's SOA Subverter battle rifle, and the Eerie Affliction blueprint, which is for the popular Static-HV submachine gun. Both feature a fatal blow dismemberment death effect as well as the new sadistic smile tracer rounds.
While all of the cosmetics in the bundle can be used across both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, existing cosmetics and any future purchases made in the 2023 shooter will not carry forward to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Although the transition between 2022's Modern Warfare 2 and 2023's Modern Warfare 3 allowed players to continue using the same cosmetics and weapons, Activision has confirmed that will not be the case with its next release. So don't expect to take this horrifying Smile 2 bundle into Black Ops 6, as it will be locked to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
