According to multiple social media posts, Call of Duty is constantly crashing while gamers try to play on split-screen with their friends or partners. Most of these gamers are unable to find a fix for the situation, as the game keeps crashing for some people even after restarting the console. Unfortunately, it seems that these game-breaking issues are occurring on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. At the time of this report, Activision did not officially acknowledge this issue, and it has yet to fix the glitch.

Multiple Players Are Unable to Play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in Split-Screen

The split-screen issue does not seem to be the only problem with the patch. Several Call of Duty players are angry with the recent update after it completely wiped their game files for Modern Warfare 3. In most cases, this problem forced the players to reinstall the files to play Warzone or the Zombies campaign.

In any case, the week is still an important time for Call of Duty players because of the release of Black Ops 6. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on October 25, marking the first time a game from the Call of Duty franchise is offered on day one for the service.

Lots of details about the upcoming Black Ops 6 have already been revealed, and one of the most recent ones is a pretty big departure when compared to Black Ops: Cold War. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will have a linear campaign with only a single ending. Several games in the Black Ops line have featured choices and multiple endings before, but it seems that the developers have ditched this element in the upcoming game.
