A dedicated Far Cry 5 player has recreated the famous Call of Duty map, Shipment, in the game's map editor with a funky twist. Shipment came to Modern Warfare 3 late last month, and now gamers can play it in a completely different title altogether.

Shipment remains one of the best maps in Call of Duty history. Having made its debut back in 2007's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, it has appeared in several titles since, including every game in the recent Modern Warfare trilogy. The map's small size makes it perfect for gaining XP quickly and grinding out camo challenges that otherwise would take a long time to complete. It is so popular, that every time it's included in a game, there is often a Shipment 24/7 playlist that allows gamers to jump onto that map exclusively.

If there is one thing the Far Cry series is known for, it is for showcasing absolutely compelling villains in every entry of the franchise.

The map was created by YouTuber Mojo Swoptops, who shared their version of Shipment while adding an interesting twist. Titling the map "Hipment," it adds flowers, guitars, beds, and graffiti to give the map a groovier vibe. There are even some pink flamingos dotted around to really sell the entire thing. While the map might not push the Far Cry 5 map editor to its very limits, it's definitely interesting to see the difference from what is usually a war-torn battlefield.

Mojo Swoptops is something of a legend in the Far Cry 5 mapmaking community. They have spent plenty of time in the past on these types of maps, which comprise the majority of their YouTube channel. Much earlier this year, Mojo Swoptops recreated Skyrim's Falkreath in Far Cry 5, but they've worked non-stop throughout the year to bring similar creations to life. It's clear that they're a fan of Shipment, having also recreated it in June using Halo Infinite's Forge Mode. They certainly aren't showing any signs of slowing down, so hopefully 2024 will see them remain as creative as 2023.

In terms of Far Cry games, it's been quiet for a little while now. Far Cry 6 was released over two years ago, but there has been practically no news about a sequel up to now. The games continue to sell well, so it stands to reason that a seventh installment is on the way. When it comes to what to expect from the Far Cry franchise in 2024, some actual confirmation that a new game is on the way would be the perfect start.
