Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone have entered their final sixth season, introducing a wealth of additional content to the game, including the debut of various game modes and additional weapons unlocked through the Battle Pass. While players may still be grinding to get their hold on powerful weapons like the Kastov LSW for Season 6, an additional Aftermarket Part has also made its debut.

The JAK Salvo is an Aftermarket Part available for the KATT-AMR, and once equipped, it converts the weapon into a powerful explosive Sniper Rifle. Though this Conversion Kit is far from being the best weapon in the game, essentially killing the weapon's bullet velocity and long-range potential, it can be a decent option to consider when paired with the best loadout.

How To Unlock The JAK Salvo

The JAK Salvo can be unlocked by completing five of the Weekly Challenges within Week 1 of Season 6. These challenges can be conquered in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, allowing players to get their hands on this Aftermarket Part with minimal effort. On top of acquiring the JAK Salvo, progressing through the Weekly Challenges for Season 6 will also give players the chance to unlock the Drawn and Quartered Weapon Camo — though they will have to acquire every weekly reward to get it.

To unlock the JAK Salvo for Warzone Mobile, players will instead have to spend their Arsenal Coins in the Arsenal Store.

Once Season 6 ends with the debut of Black Ops 6 Season 1, the JAK Salvo will move over to the Armory Unlock section for players who have not unlocked it.

The JAK Salvo is far from the best weapon in Modern Warfare 3, especially with its limited 3-round capacity, which leaves players needing to reload after just a few gunfights. Given this, it's smart to pair it with a reliable Handgun for when the Primary weapon is unavailable. The WSP Stinger is a great option, offering high DPS for a fast time-to-kill. The Renetti and COR-45 are also strong choices due to their high damage per shot and impressive Aftermarket Parts.

For Warzone, however, an Assault Rifle is a better choice, preferably one that can excel in various situations. The BP50 is a solid option, proving to be one of the most versatile choices in the category. The MCW and Holger 556 are also good considerations, each offering a strong damage output and excellent performance both up close and from afar.
