Call of Duty fans can enjoy some free cosmetics this month as the most recent Gift Pack for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone includes a variety of Pride-themed gun camos that are available for all in-game weapons. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gives out free bundles with various cosmetic items on frequent occasions via the in-game storefront, and these will seemingly remain available throughout the month of June.
Releasing free cosmetics themed after LGBTQIA+ flags and other Pride-themed items is not a new concept, as even previous Call of Duty games have come out with player emblems, calling cards, and other cosmetics to honor the month in the past. However, while players' items from Modern Warfare 2 are still available in the latest game, the new camos help set the lates Pride celebration apart from previous efforts.

CharlieIntel shared an image of the in-game items, which are all weapon camos that will change the color and design of a player's weapon when applied. The pack also seemingly includes two player emblems that feature heart-shaped pride flags that players can use to customize their in-game profile with their favorite designs.
Call of Duty's Pride Camos are a Rare Exception
Previous Call of Duty games have not shied away from giving out free cosmetics for Pride Month in the past, either in the form of weapon camos, gun charms, calling cards, or other items. Getting access to several camos that can be used on the game's guns is a better reward than usual, though, and many will surely appreciate the new skins. Since these special event bundles are typically available for much longer than the usual Free Gift packs that the game hands out on a regular basis, players should have a good bit of time to grab the Pride gift pack.
The new camos are usable in both the base multiplayer modes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and the battle royale spin-off Warzone, and they are usable on any weapon regardless of type or attachments. This is somewhat unusual for Call of Duty cosmetics in general, which are typically tied to individual weapons and the player's progression with each one, requiring them to be unlocked through gameplay.
Some fans appreciated the fact that the cosmetics are universally applicable, stating that locking Modern Warfare 3 camos behind individual progression can be a bit tedious and that it will be nice to have some that don't require it. The new camos are currently available as of June 1 across both titles, and players seemingly have the whole month to log in and claim them.
