The Urzikstan map was released in Call of Duty: Warzone last year, and fans have been eagerly looking forward to what Activision has in store for the community; more so because rumors had suggested that Verdansk could be making its way back to Warzone. Amid that, a new leak reveals what map players could possibly see after the return of Verdansk in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Leaks Confirm Helpful Improvement

A newly emerged Black Ops 6 leak reveals a rather helpful improvement that the next Call of Duty game is set to introduce this October.

In a new tweet, Twitter user betterthanalaix reveals the first look at the upcoming Call of Duty: Warzone map. This leak was one of the many that the user posted on their account recently, with the others being focused on the maps and weapons that will be featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This is apparently the same map, Avalon, that was earlier rumored to be released with the next Call of Duty game in 2025. The leaked video showcases a seemingly early version of the map since the textures are of quite low quality. Additionally, a number of areas look like they are quite empty which further suggests that the final version of the map might look different. However, there are a plethora of exciting areas of interest that have got fans excited.

  • Dig - Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
  • Hazard - Call of Duty: Black Ops
  • Outskirts - Call of Duty: World at War
  • Detour - Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
  • WMD - Call of Duty: Black Ops

A number of returning maps from previous Call of Duty games have been spotted in the leaked Warzone map. There is also the Golf Course DLC Map from Call of Duty: Black Ops, known as Hazard.

One map that has got fans particularly excited is Outskirts from Call of Duty: World at War. In fact, many have been more excited to see the return of than the other Black Ops maps. The map Detour from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has also been spotted, alongside WMD from Black Ops 1. Considering that leaks had previously suggested that Call of Duty might be tapping into the nostalgia factor in 2025, the return of these maps in Warzone does make a lot of sense. That being said, since this map is rumored to be at least a year away, anything can change between now and its actual release. Considering the hype it has managed to stir in the community, it seems like Activision is on the right track.
