A reliable data miner and leaker has claimed that the nighttime variant of Rebirth Island is likely returning to Call of Duty: Warzone with the game's Season 6 update. As of writing, there's currently no confirmed release date for Season 6, but it's expected to arrive for both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone in early to mid-October. It's also expected to be the final season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 due to the launch of Black Ops 7 on November 14.
Plenty of maps have come and gone since the release of Call of Duty: Warzone in 2020, but few have made the same impact as Rebirth Island and Verdansk. The former of the two is a smaller, fast-paced Resurgence map that quickly became a staple of Warzone. While Rebirth Island has remained a fan-favorite among the community, Fortune's Keep, Ashika Island, Area 99, and more have been rotated in and out in an attempt to keep the gameplay loop fresh. But as Rebirth Island is undoubtedly the number one choice for Resurgence fans, players will be pleased to know that its nighttime variant is seemingly making a return next month with a brand-new Warzone update.

Rebirth Island Night May Return In Warzone Season 6
In 2021, Activision introduced a nighttime variant of Rebirth Island to Call of Duty: Warzone. The map was a part of the Destruction of Verdansk event, but it hasn't been seen in-game since. Now, according to reliable leaker and data miner RealityUK, the popular map variant is gearing up to make its triumphant return with the game's big Season 6 update. In a new post on Twitter, the leaker simply said, "Seems Rebirth Night will be returning with Season 6." No further details were shared, such as whether the map will be available at launch or during its mid-season update, but it seems as though it has likely already made its way into the game's files.
Currently, Rebirth Island is the only Resurgence map available to play in Call of Duty: Warzone, but that may soon be about to change with the launch of Black Ops 7 Season 1. According to reliable industry insider TheGhostOfHope, a new Resurgence map for Warzone will be released with the game's first update. However, the leak has gotten fans up in arms after it was claimed that the map will be an amalgamation of various Black Ops 6 Zombies maps, such as Liberty Falls, Shattered Veil, and more.
Call of Duty: Warzone fans can expect plenty of big changes with Black Ops 7 Season 1, as there will be a plethora of new weapons and features integrated into the free-to-play title. While the next Black Ops game won't have jet packs like many expected, it will feature an evolved omnimovent system with double jumps, and will even be moving the controversial tactical sprint feature from the game's core movement mechanics. It's unknown when Season 1 will begin, but Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is officially set to launch on November 14.
