The return of Verdansk to Call of Duty: Warzone introduced numerous Easter eggs. Some provide in-game loot rewards, while others serve as nostalgic nods to the original map and game, reminding players of key moments in its lifecycle and their first experiences with it.
CoD Warzone: Subway Station Easter Egg Guide
The subway station over at the Airport can be opened once again in Warzone. Here is a guide on how to complete the Subway Station on Verdansk.
One of the more accessible yet entertaining challenges is the Floating Door Easter Egg, ideal for players who enjoy discovering hidden secrets. It references the Red Doors introduced during the Black Ops Cold War era, which enabled fast travel across Verdansk in the battle royale. Here’s a guide to completing the Floating Doors Easter Egg in Warzone’s Verdansk.
How To Complete Floating Doors Easter Egg In Call of Duty: Warzone
To complete the Floating Doors Easter Egg in Call of Duty: Warzone, players must locate an image in Verdansk’s Prison POI to obtain a code, then enter it at a specific location nearby, shoot the doors, and trigger the animation sequence. Check below the step-by-step guide to complete all the required steps and successfully complete the Easter Egg.
Find The Image & Decode The Code
To begin, players must drop into the Prison POI in Verdansk and enter the tunnels that connect to the outside. As they ascend, they should search for a small image featuring doors and red circles, which can spawn in various locations. The image’s location is random in each match, so players will need to search carefully. While this task is relatively simple, it may take some time due to the image’s random appearance. Once found, the image must be used to decode a code and interacted with to progress the Easter Egg.
Possible spawn points include the tunnel leading from outside the Prison, the shower walls inside the POI, or accessible cells (note that locked or inaccessible cells do not count). Open doors as you go to track which areas you’ve already searched. The image may appear above sinks, on floor boxes, or walls. Once located, interact with it to trigger a sound confirming the step was completed correctly.
Next, use the image to decode the code, which will be entered at the marked location (I8) near the Prison POI. Order the doors in the image by the size of the red circles, from smallest to largest. To simplify this, number the doors from one to eight in a row and record the sequence based on the circle sizes. This will give you a six-digit code. Make sure to memorize or write down these six digits for use in the next Easter Egg step.
Head To The Marked Location And Shoot The Doors In Sequence
After obtaining the six-digit code, proceed to the marked location on the map (I8), where you’ll find eight floating doors in the sky. Shoot the doors in the exact order of your assigned code, starting from the smallest circle in the image and progressing to the largest. If possible, try to do it with an Assault Rifle or sniper rifle, which will grant better vision and precision. A chime will sound for each correct shot. Once the full sequence is correctly entered, the doors will animate, and you’ll earn 1,000 XP for completing the Easter Egg.
The Floating Doors Easter Egg in Verdansk doesn’t provide any in-game rewards or exclusive unlocks; it simply triggers the floating doors animation, which can be experienced repeatedly in future playthroughs.
