Space Marine 2 has a lot of customization for players to try out to make their ideal Space Marine in Operations and Eternal War. Your customization doesn't carry over between game modes, meaning you'll need to recreate your Space Marine.

To make the overall process of customization easier, players are given four custom armor set presets to use. Designing each preset allows you to quickly jump between different designs, but once a slot is filled, can you clear it?

Can You Clear Custom Armor Set Presets In Space Marine 2

In the Armouring Hall, players can access the terminal, which lets them customize the loadout and armor sets of their Space Marine. By selecting the Edit Armor option, you'll get a menu displaying the various armor sets you can unlock and use, along with the custom preset slots at the bottom of the menu. Once a custom armor set slot is used, there is no way to delete it, and the slot will be forever filled with some set of armor.

While there is no way to clear an armor set, players are able to go in and edit their custom armor sets as much and often as they would like, as there is no cost or penalty to do so. You'll also always have access to the original armor pieces for each class, meaning you can go back to a blank slate, just one armor piece at a time.

In the Astartes Chapters menu will be the various colors and how they are applied to your Space Marine. This menu also has four custom preset slots that can be utilized, but can also not be cleared once used. The only way to get an empty slot again is to restart the game completely and lose all your progress, though this method is never recommended as it will take less time to revert each armor piece back to the basic option.

Custom Armor Set Presets do not transfer between Operations and Eternal War, essentially giving eight slots in total between both game modes.

While some of the rare armor sets, like Deathwatch, can be obtained through more intricate methods, most armor pieces can easily be obtained through Eternal War. While the highest-end relic-tier armor pieces will require a lot of playtime in Operations, players can play and win Eternal War matches fairly easily with the right class, with most wins giving new armor pieces of some kind. Early into the game, this is by far the easiest method to get new customization options.
