Between the Empire, pirates, and the various crime factions in Star Wars Outlaws; there are a lot of people out to get Kay. Her speeder makes getting away from difficult situations much easier, though if your enemy also has a speeder you're in for a chase.
During a speeder chase, your enemies will be able to fire off shots from their blasters or those mounted on their speeder like the Empire has. Moments like these will often have players wonder if they too can shoot from their speeder; here's how to do it.
All Blaster Upgrades in Star Wars Outlaws (Every Module & Configuration)
Players can choose between a wide variety of modules and configurations when upgrading the blaster in Star Wars Outlaws.
Can You Shoot On Your Speeder In Star Wars Outlaws
Unlike her enemies, Kay is not able to normally aim and fire her blaster while on her speeder. That being said, she is able to use the Adrenaline Rush ability while on her speeder, which allows you to tag and quickly shoot enemies. This ability is limited, and players will need to charge up adrenaline before it can be used, but this is the only way to shoot at enemies using your blaster. There is also no way to damage enemies on your speeder beyond this ability and getting lucky, as crashing into an enemy will usually only hurt Kay unless you push them off a cliff.
As long as it keeps charging up freshly with each use, there is no limitation on the Adrenaline Rush ability, and players can use it to fight from their speeder. Thanks to the auto-aim of this ability, it also takes away the possibility of missing your shots as long as the tagged enemy is still within Kay's sight once the ability fully activates.
The Adrenaline Rush ability is indicated by the icon in the bottom left of the screen. Once the bar around the icon fills about halfway, the button prompt to activate the skill will appear. Once activated, time will greatly slow down and players will be able to tag multiple enemies to be shot the second time resumes and the skill activates. There is a time limit from when the skill is activated to when Kay shoots, but luckily, tagging enemies is quick and easy.

How To Charge Adrenaline On Your Speeder In Star Wars Outlaws
There are two main ways to charge your Adrenaline while on a speeder, and both can be done in combat.
- Getting shot at
- Dropping or jumping distances - the amount of adrenaline is determined by the distance.
While it is unlucky you'll be shot at during a speeder chase, each shot at you further charges your Adrenaline meter. Dropping or jumping can also be made fairly easy using the speed boost ability, giving large amounts of Adrenaline in seconds.
It is possible to drop from high enough that you get knocked off your speeder and take damage.
