The Casting of Frank Stone is a very gripping narrative journey, filled with suspense and supernatural elements. Players can sit back and enjoy cutscenes for the most part, but there will be many moments where players will need to make choices that will alter the very nature of the story.

The game is a spin-off of the game, Dead by Daylight, with plenty of reference to be had. Players will need to explore various paths if they wish to see every ending the game has to offer — extending their playthrough in the process.

Each chapter will set the stage with a cutscene, and throughout each chapter, the game will halt story progression to let players make choices. However, there are also moments where players will be able to take direct control of characters to explore the surrounding areas.

The longer players explore an area, the more time it will take them to complete the game. The average experience should take between 5 to 6 hours for players who like to look around, without trying too hard to do everything they need to get every trophy/achievement in the game.

How Long Does It Take To Do Everything In The Casting Of Frank Stone

Found Victor's Soldier Trinket The Casting of Frank Stone

The game has many collectibles, such as all of the game’s Relliks, that can extend the duration of the game thanks to having the players take some extra time to look around every corner of the map — or pick up an item to access a specific place later on. The game features many elements to keep players in the game long after the credits roll. There is a feature called The Cutting Room Floor that will let players change how events played out at different points in the game. Revisiting these locations can allow the player to collect items they may have missed on their first run.

Players will need to use this feature in order to collect all of the game’s Trinkets and all of the game’s Artifacts — which can sometimes lie on different paths based on player choices. Players that did not care about such things on their first run could see hunting them down on their own for an additional couple of hours — but using guides to know exactly where they are can trim this down to under a single hour.

Lastly, the game features multiple endings, including an ending where everyone survives and an ending where everyone meets their untimely end. This means that players will need to dive into many conflicting situations if they intend to get the full experience offered by the game.
