Supermassive Games' latest outing, The Casting of Frank Stone, reintroduces players to the choice-based cinematic style of gameplay which first propelled the studio to success. Like in Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, key actions that players take help shape the story and decide the fate of the characters, including who lives and who dies.
As always, a trophy is awarded to those diligent players who work to keep all the characters alive by the end of The Casting of Frank Stone, a task made even easier by the inclusion of the Cutting Room Floor. This guide will walk players along the golden path that ensures all key characters survive their ordeal, earning you the Entity Displeased trophy along the way.

The Casting of Frank Stone: Save Everyone in Chapter 13
Be a sure shot with the Super 8
Like most endgame chapters in Supermassive's Dark Pictures titles, Chapter 13 can be a bloodbath if you’re not careful. As Linda, protect your friends with the Super 8 Camera as you have done in Chapter 7. Bonnie will be hooked at the end of this scene regardless, so don’t panic when she is – it doesn’t count towards the trophy.
Save Jaime and Chris
Later in Chapter 13, you’ll return to Sam in 1980 and enter the sewers below the mill. Ward off Frank’s spirit with the camera whenever he appears. Remember to keep him in frame, continuously wind the reel, and reload the camera after every encounter to ensure you don’t run out of tape mid-fight; don’t worry about ammunition, as you can’t run out of film.
Follow the sewers around, and through the hole on the right to find Jaime impaled on the wall. Fight off Frank with the camera and pull him from the spike to save him. Along this same tunnel, you can find The Spirit Rellik.
The Casting Of Frank Stone: All Trinket Locations
Collectables are always a treat, but they can be hard to find. Here's where you can locate all the trinkets in The Casting of Frank Stone.
A little further into the sewers, take a left and squeeze through a gap to find Chris in a room by herself. Tell her to stay hidden and press onward.
Defeat Frank Stone
Following the trail of blood to Linda, Frank will launch another attack. Weaken him with the Super 8 before finishing him off for good by hitting all the camera prompts.
The Casting of Frank Stone: Save Everyone in Chapter 14
Let Stan die
Whether you choose to confront Stan or Augustine, it doesn’t matter so long as you allow Stan to die when Frank emerges from the projector screen by failing the button mash sequence when he is grabbed. Stan will perish regardless of your choices, and his death doesn’t impact earning the Entity Displeased trophy. Back away as he is consumed by the celluloid creature.
Repair the generator quickly
Linda and Madi will search for an exit from the manor and come across a generator. Find the parts and repair it quickly, without missing too many Skill Checks, to earn the Tinkerer trophy and avoid being killed.
Save Madi
Back in the hallway, Frank will bust through the wall and corner Madi. In order to both escape, Linda must help Madi and distract the Killer instead of fleeing into the elevator.
Reject Augustine’s Offer
Madi will enter the elevator and take it to the horologium. There, you must reject Augustine’s offer to remove your pain, and flee the building to ensure Madi’s survival.
Escape the Killer
Running from the Killer, hit each Skill Check and button prompt in a timely fashion to elude Frank Stone as he chases you through the Manor. Eventually, you’ll encounter Stan as he distracts the monster. Flee here, as well, and let Stan take over the chase so you can escape. Much the same, Stan must hit plenty of Skill Checks in quick succession to survive.
With all the cast outside the Manor, you should have secured the Entity Displeased trophy by keeping everyone alive in The Casting of Frank Stone. Augustine will be taken by the Entity and, after a walk through the woods, you’ll end up at a campfire surrounded by some familiar Survivors. As the credits roll, the achievement should unlock.
