Players will pass through the Ancient Sanctuary on their way to the Gestral Village in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This map is home to numerous Pictos, weapons, and beyond, and some players will undoubtedly want to find them all. This guide is written with those players in mind, and it details how to find every item on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's Ancient Santuary map.

Players will be able to freely return to this map in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 during much of their time with the game, and it is certainly not imperative that they find every item during their first visit.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 - Ancient Sanctuary 100% Exploration

Petank

  • Starting Expedition Flag: Entrance

There is a Petank just past the Entrance Expedition Flag, and players should chase it forward and to the left, pushing it up the small ramp and onto the illuminated spot on the ground. Players should then engage the Petank in combat and defeat it to receive 5x Polished Chroma Catalyst, 1x Recoat, and 5x Colour of Lumina.

This fight is all about having the ability to consistently break the Petank's shields, and Gustave's Lumiere Assault and Maelle's Breaking Rules skills are great for doing just that.

Energising Jump (Pictos)

  • Effect: +1 AP on Jump Counterattack.
  • Starting Expedition Flag: Entrance

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 players can find this Pictos on the ground to the left of the illuminated spot that was used to trap the Petank.

Burning Mark (Pictos)

  • Effect: Apply Burn on hitting a Marked enemy.
  • Starting Expedition Flag: Entrance

Players should follow the stream in the area with the Petank to reach a wall with handholds, which they can shimmy across. This action will lead players to a small area with this Pictos.

Sakaram (Weapon)

  • Starting Expedition Flag: Entrance

Players who follow the critical path will enter an area filled with dead Nevrons. Here, players will fight a Robust Sakapatate, which awards this Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 weapon when defeated.

Energising Start II (Pictos)

  • Effect: +1 AP on battle start.
  • Starting Expedition Flag: Sanctuary Maze

After passing the Sanctuary Maze Expedition Flag, players should go right at the fork and look for a small alcove on their right. There is a low gap in this alcove through which players can crawl, and they should go right when they emerge.

Players should then make their way to the far end of the area, and use the two hand holds on the left to climb a small wall. There is a path at the top that leads directly to this Pictos.

Attack Lifesteal (Pictos)

  • Effect: Recover 15% of Health on Base Attack.
  • Starting Expedition Flag: Sanctuary Maze

Players should now descend the hand holds that they used to reach the Energising Start II Pictos and enter the tunnel that is ahead. This tunnel leads to a Catapult Sakapatate, who is guarding this Pictos in a small alcove.

Colour of Lumina

There is a gold thread that players can climb just past the alcove with the Attack Lifesteal Pictos, and the path that is beyond it leads to a Colour of Lumina.

Baguette Outfit (Lune) & Baguette Haircut (Lune)

  • Starting Expedition Flag: Sanctuary Maze

Players should now return to the low gap that is near the Sanctuary Maze Expedition Flag. This time, they should head left after crawling through. Players should then follow the path to find a mime, and they should dispatch the enemy to receive these two cosmetic items in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Revive Tint Shard

There is a wooden structure in the middle of the arena where players will encounter the mime, and there is a dddd Revive Tint Shard inside.

Colour of Lumina

Players should face the entrance to the aforementioned wooden structure and then look 90 degrees to the left. Players should then follow the path that is in front of them to reach a ledge with a Colour of Lumina.

Trebuchim (Weapon)

  • Starting Expedition Flag: Sanctuary Maze

After passing the Sanctuary Maze Expedition Flag, players should go left at the fork and follow the path to reach an area with some blue statues. A Catapult Sakapatate patrols this area, and players who dispatch it will receive this weapon.

Healing Tint Shard

  • Starting Expedition Flag: Sanctuary Maze

Players should follow the path beyond the blue statues and stay right at the fork that they encounter to enter an area with the top of a domed building and a large Robust Sakapatate. Players should exit that area through a path on the left, and then enter the alcove on their right to find a Healing Tint Shard.

Journal 63

  • Starting Expedition Flag: Sanctuary Maze

Players should now return to the area with the domed building and use the path on its far side to enter an alcove with a rock formation that is covered with Nevron parts in its center. Journal 63 is on the ground next to that rock formation.

While players are in this alcove, they should take a moment to shoot three Paint Cage locks. Two of these locks can be found against the rocks that form the alcove's perimeter, while the third is on the ground by some wooden crates.

Chroma Elixir Shard

  • Starting Expedition Flag: Sanctuary Maze

After breaking the three Paint Cage locks, players should return to the area with the domed building. There is a hidden path in the foliage directly next to that building, and players should use it to reach an area with a series of elevated platforms. Players who jump across those platforms will be taken directly to the Paint Cage, which holds a Chroma Elixir Shard.

Breaker (Pictos)

  • Effect: 25% increased Break damage.
  • Starting Expedition Flag: Giant Bell Alley

Players will encounter the Ultimate Sakapatate, the map's final boss, not long after passing the Giant Bell Alley Expedition Flag, and they will receive this Pictos upon besting the foe in combat.

Energy Tint Shard

  • Starting Expedition Flag: Giant Bell Alley

There is a slightly elevated area within the Ultimate Sakapatate's arena, and an Energy Tint Shard can be found there.

Stun Boost (Pictos)

  • Effect: 30% increased damage on Stunned targets.
  • Starting Expedition Flag: Giant Bell Alley

There is a tunnel through which players can crawl next to the Energy Tint Shard, and the path that is beyond that tunnel leads directly to this Pictos.

Colour of Lumina

Starting Expedition Flag: Giant Bell Alley

There is a Colour of Lumina on the ground on the other side of the Ultimate Sakapatate's arena.
