Esquie is said to be the most powerful being in the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 universe, although sadly, he doesn't seem very motivated to solve the world's problems.
He was modelled after the real Verso's favorite stuffed toy, and this favoritism is really apparent, since Verso's Drafts is filled with traces of Esquie. There are even some Esquie statues in Expedition 33 that can change colors, enabling a simple puzzle for players to solve.

Esquie Statue Puzzle Location In Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Players can find the Esquie statue puzzle in Expedition 33 near the Gestral Baths expedition flag in Verso's Drafts. Look at where the Gestrals are, and players should spot a blue Gestral with a lifebuoy on its neck.
Talk to the Half-baked Lifeguard, and they will mention that the Esquie statues in the area are in the wrong state, hinting that they need to be rectified.
As a reward for solving this Expedition 33 puzzle, players will get a Piece of Cake, which will combine into a Birthday Cake if it's the third one they get.
How To Solve Esquie Statue Puzzle In Clair Obscur Expedition 33
To solve the Esquie statue puzzle in Expedition 33, you must make three statues red and the other three blue. This will equally divide the "Whees" and "Whoos", restoring balance.
When talking to the Half-baked Lifeguard, the screen will zoom out, showing all six Esquie statues in the area. Players can change the color of any Esquie statue, as long as three of them end up red, and the other three blue.
It is said that the statues all become happy (red) because of the player's visit, and that's why the Half-baked Lifeguard must turn them back to their gloomy state. The number of Esquie statues that must be switched is hinted at by the Gestral's speech, where they said that they might only need to change a number of the statues, instead of all of them.
The solution to this Esquie puzzle represents how life is a mix of happiness and sadness, and that the two can coexist peacefully with one another, as that's simply how life works. This also further shows Esquie's personality, where he's not afraid to show that he's sad or happy.
If you haven't yet, make sure to visit Esquie's nemesis to enter a challenging boss fight in Expedition 33.
