Clash of Clans is crossing over with WWE, Supercell has announced. The upcoming collaboration will reimagine many Clash of Clans characters as WWE wrestlers, in addition to introducing various other novelties.

Multiple WWE superstars have had a long-established interest in Clash of Clans. During one 2021 episode of The New Day: Feel the Power podcast, it was revealed that John Cena used to be extremely invested in Supercell's hit game, to the point that he also got his co-stars into playing it. At one point, Cena and Roman Reigns reportedly even had a prolonged Clan War. Moreover, Cody Rhodes, Tyler Breeze, and Xavier Woods all used to be in the same clan, though it's unclear if they still are.

Clash of Clans developer Supercell is now capitalizing on this connection with an official WWE collaboration. The partnership will bring Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, The Undertaker, and Bianca Belair to the popular mobile game, reimagined as characters such as Archer Queen, Barbarian King, and Grand Warden. The crossover event is scheduled to kick off on April 1 and will be available for the entire rest of the month.

Rey Mysterio will also be featured in the event as well, replacing the Clash of Clans Minion Prince hero. P.E.K.K.A. Will be reimagined as Kane, while Valkyrie will be replaced by Becky Lynch. Jey Uso will get the role of Thrower, currently the last Elixir troop that can be unlocked in the Home Village. The collaboration will also introduce some themed environments to the game, together with events, cosmetics, and a variety of Easter eggs referencing WWE's legacy.

Supercell Head of Live Games Sara Bach described the newly announced crossover event as a no-brainer. "When the game team found out Cody Rhodes and other Superstars were long-time Clash of Clans fans, they didn’t hesitate to reach out to WWE," the executive said in a prepared statement. The partnership will also see Supercell sponsor WrestleMania 41, which is scheduled to kick off at the Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium on April 19, with the main event happening a day later.

When the game team found out Cody Rhodes and other Superstars were long-time Clash of Clans fans, they didn’t hesitate to reach out to WWE.

Reflecting on this occasion, Undisputed WWE Champion and long-time gamer Cody Rhodes said that while he has spent many a year building his WWE legacy, most of his wins have actually come in Clash of Clans.
