Clash of Clans is crossing over with WWE, Supercell has announced. The upcoming collaboration will reimagine many Clash of Clans characters as WWE wrestlers, in addition to introducing various other novelties.
Multiple WWE superstars have had a long-established interest in Clash of Clans. During one 2021 episode of The New Day: Feel the Power podcast, it was revealed that John Cena used to be extremely invested in Supercell's hit game, to the point that he also got his co-stars into playing it. Supercell Head of Live Games Sara Bach described the newly announced crossover event as a no-brainer. "When the game team found out Cody Rhodes and other Superstars were long-time Clash of Clans fans, they didn’t hesitate to reach out to WWE," the executive said in a prepared statement. The partnership will also see Supercell sponsor WrestleMania 41, which is scheduled to kick off at the Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium on April 19, with the main event happening a day later.
