The Death Pit Event Guide in Black Ops 6 Zombies

The Haunting is entering its second week in Black Ops 6, bringing players even more spooky-themed content. While Slasher Deathmatch has already made its grand debut, letting players take on or fight against their favorite horror movie slasher icons, two horror-fueled events are also kicking off.

The first event players can look forward to is the Echoes of the Dead Event, offering some seriously epic rewards like the X52 Resonator Special Weapon and an animated Camo for completing the event. However, launching alongside Echoes of the Dead is the Death Pit Event, which is exclusive to Zombies. Here is everything there is to know about the Death Pit Event in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

How Does The Death Pit Event Work in Black Ops 6 Zombies?

The Death Pit Event is another Zombies-exclusive leaderboard event that functions just like the previous Undead Ascension Event. In The Death Pit, players are placed into a leaderboard challenge where they must compete against 29 other real players to climb the ranks for higher placement. To move up the leaderboard and participate, players will need to earn Essence in Haunted Havoc, the limited-time mode added with The Haunting.

As players earn Essence, they will move up the leaderboard. The placement players achieve will determine which rewards they receive at the end of The Death Pit Event. In addition to placement rewards, players can also earn milestone rewards immediately simply by completing the required challenge.

All The Death Pit Event Rewards in Black Ops 6 Zombies

The Death Pit Event features two types of reward tracks. The first are the placement rewards, earned at the end of the event based on the final placement players achieve on the leaderboard. These include GobbleGums and animated Emblems that players can equip to their profile.

The second type consists of milestone rewards, which are earned immediately upon collecting enough Essence in Haunted Havoc. These milestone rewards also grant additional GobbleGums. All GobbleGum rewards earned during The Death Pit can be used in Black Ops 6 Zombies once they are awarded, or will transfer to Black Ops 7 Zombies if left unconsumed.
