Field Upgrades in Call of Duty are an integral part of building a loadout for multiplayer action. In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, there are plenty to choose from and to suit all styles of play.
For players who prefer to run and gun with the Jackal PDW or like a slower pace of play with the XM4, picking the right Field Upgrade adds a further layer of customization to a loadout along with extra versatility that's guaranteed to help a team secure victory. Here, find all of the confirmed Black Ops 6 Field Upgrades available to select in multiplayer.
Black Ops 6 Field Upgrade List
During the beta, there were a total of four Field Upgrades to use as part of a Black Ops 6 loadout. When the game launches on October 25, this number is expected to expand with other items featuring a wealth of different benefits that are going to prove useful in the heat of battle.
Below is a list of all the known Field Upgrades and how they work:
Assault Pack
First on the list is the Assault Pack. Players with this Field Upgrade equipped can deploy a box onto the ground containing additional ammunition and pieces of equipment to resupply themselves and teammates running low on bullets and grenades.
With most weaponry possessing a lethal rate of fire, players will find their ammo supply running out quickly. With an Assault Pack, they can replenish their supply with ease.
Trophy System
The Trophy System has appeared in several Call of Duty games and remains one of the more useful Field Upgrades on offer. When equipped, players can place it onto the ground and watch it destroy enemy projectiles as they fly through the air.
This is particularly useful in game modes such as Hardpoint and Domination where players often battle it out for control of specific areas of the map.
Neurogas
New for Black Ops 6 is the Neurogas, a trap that detonates when the opposition gets too close to it. When triggered, the device emits a cloud of toxic gas that disorients and damages opponents within a specific range.
Thanks to its compact size, Neurogas is difficult to spot when placed in corners or darker areas where they remain hidden until players begin to encounter its effects.
Acoustic Amp
The fourth and final confirmed Field Upgrade in Black Ops 6 is the Acoustic Amp. For players familiar with Call of Duty, this Field Upgrade works similarly to the Awareness perk from previous releases.
When activated, players benefit from an audio amplifier that increases the loudness of enemy footsteps making them easier to hear in the heat of battle. When gunfire and explosives ring out for the full length of a match, being able to hear nearby threats is always going to be an advantage.
The full build of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 releases on October 25th will feature more Field Upgrades for players to choose from as part of the loadout creation process. Once they're revealed we'll update the list with their names and how they can influence gameplay.

In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
