Black Ops 6 throws players into a fast-paced Multiplayer experience featuring the groundbreaking Omnimovement system, a wide arsenal of weapons, and small, chaotic maps for players to battle on. When customizing their loadouts, players may often focus on creating the best weapon builds available. However, a player's Perk Package is just as important.
There is a wide range of Perks to choose from in Black Ops 6, including the infamous Double Time and incredibly useful Dexterity. Tracker is another one of these Perks, which may be particularly useful for players running with a powerful Submachine Gun like the Jackal PDW. Here’s how to get and use the Tracker Perk in Black Ops 6.

How To Equip & Use Tracker In Black Ops 6
Tracker is one of many Perks players can equip in Black Ops 6. By default, Tracker can be equipped in the Perk 2 slot or as a fourth Perk using Perk Greed — one of the game's many Wildcards. Tracker has two unique benefits that can be incredibly useful in battle. The first benefit, carried over from previous Call of Duty games, is its ability to reveal enemy footprints, making it easier for players to track down opponents. The second, more original benefit is its ability to auto-ping enemies while aiming down sights, though this feature comes with a long cooldown.
Revealing enemy footprints is, in itself, a handy benefit when paired with a close-range weapon like the Marine SP, as players can better play into gunning opponents down at close range by following the footprint trails. The ability to auto-ping opponents can be used for a similar purpose, but is also handy for keeping track of opponents when using a long-range weapon from either the Sniper Rifle, Assault Rifle, or Marksman Rifle categories.
Additionally, Tracker grants access to the Recon Specialty if paired with two other Perks of the same color. With Recon equipped, players can see enemies through walls for a short duration upon respawning, reveal the direction of nearby enemies who are out of view with a HUD flash, and leave no-kill skulls upon eliminating an opponent. All these benefits are great for players looking to gain key intel on where their enemies are located, but it does mean players will miss out on the powerful benefits of running Enforcer. Additional Perks that players can run alongside Tracker to gain access to Recon include Ninja, Ghost, Engineer, Forward Intel, Vigilance, and Cold Blooded.
