The launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 continues to move into view, much to the excitement of fans waiting to load into the action for the first time. Before launch, fans of the franchise have the ability to play ahead of launch during two beta weekends, which contain a small portion of what the full game has to offer.
For the launch of Black Ops 6, Treyarch has created a brand-new set of maps for players to load into during the beta. Each one has never been seen in a Call of Duty title before, guaranteeing a fresh experience for the whole community. Here, find all the maps appearing in the Black Ops 6 beta and when the game launches.

Activison reveals unlockable mastery skins in the multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, releasing later this year on October 25.
Black Ops 6 Beta Map List
Call of Duty betas typically offer players a small slice of what the full release has to offer and for Black Ops 6, it's no different. Players can experience a total of eight maps across the beta weekends. Below is a list of all the battlegrounds available during the beta:
- Babylon (Core map, available during weekend two)
- Derelict (Core map)
- Gala (Strike map)
- Pit (Strike map)
- Rewind (Core map)
- Skud (Core map)
- Skyline (Core map)
- Stakeout (Core map, available during weekend two)
Core maps are the standard six-versus-six maps that Call of Duty players have come to expect in every annual release. During the beta, there are a total of five on offer. Alongside the selection of Core maps, Strike maps are designed to offer players a different experience.
Strike maps are focused on delivering a faster pace of play, in addition to being used in two-versus-two Gunfight or three-versus-three Face Off matches where smaller teams load into the action.
All Black Ops 6 Launch Maps
A Call of Duty blog post confirms Black Ops 6 launches with 16 multiplayer maps in total: 12 Core maps and four Strike maps. Treyarch reveals the majority of the map pool will feature a classic three-lane design made popular by old Call of Duty titles, while some will be larger to accommodate a slower pace and Hardcore game modes.
Below is a list of all Black Ops 6 multiplayer maps confirmed for launch:
Core Maps
- Rewind
- Red Card
- Babylon
- Derelict
- Lowtown
- Protocol
- Payback
- Scud
- Skyline
- Vault
- Vorkuta
- Subsonic
Strike Maps
- Sand House
- Pit
- Stakeout
- Gala
The map pool is expected to expand, with seasonal updates providing even more battlegrounds for Black Ops 6 players to master. Perhaps Treyarch has some remasters up its sleeve. One interesting omission is the iconic Nuketown map, a staple of the Black Ops series. Players will have to wait and see if it makes a surprise appearance when the game launches on October 25.
The initial Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 map list is promising, with plenty of unique designs keeping players coming back for more ahead of its first post-launch update expected to go live in November.
