Those looking for the best Sniper Rifle in Black Ops 7 can’t go wrong with the VS Recon, currently the only bolt-action rifle in its category. This weapon has it all, from a reliable one-shot kill to the torso and head to clean sights and excellent handling.

The build below focuses on maximizing the weapon’s handling attributes, most notably aim-down-sight speed, to create the fastest Sniper Rifle yet. While flinch resistance takes a slight hit, it remains manageable. Movement speed, rechambering speed, and fire rate are all improved, though we’ve chosen to sacrifice a bit of range and bullet velocity to keep up with the fast pace of Multiplayer.

Next up is the Shadow SK, a powerful semi-automatic rifle that can be used much like a traditional bolt-action, thanks to its reliable one-shot kill up to 50+ meters. However, it does have a bit of kick.

The build below focuses on increasing the weapon’s aim-down-sight speed while also improving movement speed, damage range, and recoil stabilization. With an already solid fire rate and some noticeable bounce with each shot, there’s no need to boost the fire rate at the cost of damage range, so we opted to improve the weapon’s bullet velocity instead.

Last up is the XR-3 Iron, which is a bit of an unconventional Sniper Rifle thanks to the fact that it fires in three-round bursts. Right off the bat, when kitting out this weapon, you do not need to worry about boosting damage range in regular Multiplayer. This is because the weapon is fully capable of oneshotting a player up to 100 meters if all three bullets from a single burst land on the torso.

However, what the weapon does need is some much-needed boosts to aim-down-sight speed, toning down the weapon's visual recoil and kick, along with reducing its aiming idle sway. While far from the best Sniper Rifle in the game, with a bit of practice, the XR-3 Iron can be really fun to use.
