Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is just around the corner, and it’s definitely shaping up to be an action-packed installment filled to the brim with content. With Treyarch showing off the next futuristic entry in the Black Ops saga, one that picks up right where Black Ops 2 left off, it’s only natural that a ton of exciting details are starting to surface, and Treyarch is not holding back with the reveals.
Black Ops 7 takes players to the year 2035 across both its Campaign and Multiplayer, paving the way for futuristic weapons, mobility, and more. While fans will have to wait until November 14 to dive into the full game, starting in early October, players can jump into its Beta to test out the game’s Multiplayer. Here’s how to get access to the Black Ops 7 Beta.
These Wonder Weapons Don't Deserve to Return for Black Ops 7
Wonder Weapons are integral to the DNA of Call of Duty Zombies, but some classic variants shouldn't be remade for Black Ops 7.
How to Play the Black Ops 7 Beta
How players access the Black Ops 7 Beta depends on a few factors. For those who pre-order either the Standard Edition or Vault Edition of Black Ops 7, you’ll be able to jump into the Beta during its Early Access period (October 2 to October 8). Players who pre-order a digital copy can pre-download the Beta ahead of Early Access through their platform’s storefront and then hop in as soon as it goes live.
Console players who pre-order a physical copy will instead receive a Beta Code, which can be redeemed through their platform’s storefront to gain access before the Beta goes live. For those who don’t pre-order Black Ops 7, you’ll need to wait until the Open Beta period (October 5 to October 8). Just like with Early Access, you can pre-download the Beta ahead of time and jump in as soon as the Open Beta begins.
The exact time for when the pre-download for the Black Ops 7 Beta begins has not been revealed yet. Be sure to check back a little closer to the Beta's start date.
When Does the Black Ops 7 Beta Start?
The Black Ops 7 Beta officially starts Thursday, October 2, at 10 AM PT for its Early Access period. Once the Early Access period is over, players can then jump into the Open Beta, which starts Sunday, October 5, at 10 AM PT and runs until Wednesday, October 8, at 10 AM PT.
