Black Ops 7 has its own unique HUD for Multiplayer and Zombies, but some players still yearn for the simple times when things weren't seemingly so overcrowded. For players who long for a classic HUD design and something a tad more nostalgic, Black Ops 7 has implemented quite a few changes to the HUD to make it customizable so that you can bring your own flair to it and even try to recreate the classic legacy HUD of previous COD Zombies games. Here's how to recreate the Legacy HUD layout in Black Ops 7 Zombies with the Aetherium theme.

How to Get the Classic HUD Look in Black Ops 7 Zombies

While there are countless ways to customize the HUD in Black Ops 7 Zombies, here's how you can mimic the HUD layout of classic Zombies:

    • Access Career
    • Customize
    • Zombies HUD Presets
    • Select "Aetherium"

  • Classic Layout
    • Access Career

    • Select "Classic Layout"

  • Classic HUD Elements
    • Enter Settings
    • Interface
    • Gameplay HUD Menu

  • HUD Widget Visibility [On], and enter Sub Menu:
    • Loadout Information: On
    • Minimap Visibility: Off
    • Compass: Off
    • Scorestreak Widget: Off
    • Mission Tracker: Off
    • GobbleGums: On
    • Squad Widget: On
    • Round Numbers: On
    • Perks: On

  • HUD Info Visibility [On], and enter Sub Menu:
    • Player Names: Full Name
    • Player & Streak Toasts: Off
    • Medals and Notifications: Off
    • Score Feed: Off
    • Elimination Feed: Off
    • Elimination ID: Off
    • In-Game Text Chat: On

  • Zombie Healthbar: Off
  • Zombie Damage Numbers: Off

With all of these HUD Elements enabled and disabled from within the Gameplay HUD settings of the Interface Menu, you will have the appearance of the classic HUD in Black Ops 7 Zombies. This means that you won't be able to see damage numbers, zombie health bars, medals, waypoints, minimaps, and more elements that might clutter the HUD. The UI has a much more classic feel this way, especially with where the Round Number is located, as well as the Perks. Give it a try!
