Deathclaws are a new threat to Black Ops 7 Zombies in the Project RADS mode thanks to a collab with Fallout, but how can these great beasts be stopped? Deathclaws are fast, they hit like trucks, and they shrug off bullets like they're nothing. If you're struggling to kill Deathclaws and Irradiated Deathclaws for their loot, then we've got you covered.

How to Find & Defeat the Irradiated Deathclaw in BO7 Zombies

Need to find and defeat the Irradiated Deathclaw in Project RADS for BO7 Zombies? We'll show you how in Astra Malorum and Ashes of the Damned.

You'll find the best weaknesses for Deathclaws here, along with useful tips for taking down Irradiated Deathclaws to maximize your XP, challenge rewards, and loot to help you reach beyond Round 50 in Project RADS for both Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum.

Deathclaws are only found in the Project RADS mode, which is available until January 30.

Do Deathclaws Have Any Ammo Mod Weaknesses in Black Ops 7 Zombies?

Sadly, Deathclaws seem to be resistant to all Ammo Mods, meaning that they do not share an elemental weakness that aligns with The Arsenal. However, that doesn't mean that Ammo Mods are useless. While the Deathclaws have no Ammo Mod weakness, they can still be used to deal chunks of damage.

Ammo Mods like Light Mend with the Big Game Major Augment will ensure that chunks of health are taken from Deathclaws and placed in consumables to allow you to heal without the need for food coated in radiation, which may slow you down when consumed if your rads are too high. Alternatively, Fire Works with the Big Game and Big Bang Augments ensure that Elite Enemies take more damage from an explosive light show.

How to Quickly Kill Irradiated Deathclaws in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Deathclaws by themselves are not the ultimate threat, and they behave similarly to Shock Mimics in how fast they can move. Therefore, any hard-hitting and upgraded gun should do the trick. However, Irradiated Deathclaws are a different story, as these act as HVT Elite Enemies that can kill you in one-to-two hits even with full health and armor.

If you're on Astra Malorum, use the Apogee Annihlator Trap in the Stargazer's Courtyard, as the explosives from this trap will wipe out the Irradiated Deathclaw within seconds once used. It might take more than one try, so make sure you have 1,600 Essence for each use, and be careful of the explosive damage.

If you're playing Ashes of the Damned, use Ol' Tessie to kill the Irradiated Deathclaw. Ol' Tessie is equipped with the Abomination Carcass and the DG-2 Turret once you turn the power on at Ashwood within the Project RADS mode. This means you can shoot the Irradiated Deathclaw with the Abomination Beam, the DG-2 Turret, and ram it with Ol' Tessie, allowing you to stay protected behind the wheel while you kill this great beast.

If you feel like taking on the Irradiated Deathclaw the old-fashioned way with guns and Perks, then we recommend fast-firing and long-range guns like the Maddox RFB Assault Rifle or the Dravec 45 SMG. These provide you with great firepower, extended with Rarity Upgrades and Pack-a-Punch Tiers, allowing for fast movement to keep distance from the Deathclaw, while still dealing good damage at further range. For a fight like this, Stamin-Up and Double Tap are the only Perks you'll need to maintain DPS and distance.
