Modern Warfare 3 has reached its final season, bringing with it the last series of content updates. While players may still be diving into the game to get their hands on the meta DTIR 30-06 and the Kastov LSW, several additional Aftermarket Parts have made their debut since Season 6's launch. One of these Aftermarket Parts is the JAK Lance, joining Modern Warfare 3's long line of Shotgun Conversion Kits.

The JAK Lance is an Aftermarket Part for the MX Guardian, one of the many carry-over weapons for Modern Warfare 3. This nifty attachment converts this fully-automatic Shotgun into more of a long-ranged weapon, reducing its magazine size to three rounds and changing the weapon's ammunition into a bolt projectile. While this Aftermarket Part is far from one of the best weapons in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, it can be a decent consideration with the best loadout.

How To Unlock The JAK Lance

The JAK Lance can be unlocked by completing five Weekly Challenges for Week 2 of Season 6. There are seven unique challenges across Multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies, giving players the flexibility to unlock the JAK Lance in whichever mode they prefer. In addition to unlocking the JAK Lance, completing the Weekly Challenges for Season 6 will also grant access to the Drawn and Quartered Weapon Camo, provided all weekly rewards are claimed beforehand.

For Warzone Mobile, the unlock process is a little different. Instead, mobile players must spend their Arsenal Coins in the Arsenal Store to acquire the JAK Lance Aftermarket Part.

Season 6 for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will run through till the release of Season 1 for Black Ops 6, which will move the JAK Lance over to the Armory Unlock section for those who have not acquired it.

The JAK Lance for the MX Guardian does limit the attachments that are available quite a bit. With that being the case, the below build will do just fine for both Core Multiplayer and Warzone. The attachments listed below will provide a considerable boost to aim-down-sight speed, along with improving sprint-to-fire, movement speed, and vertical recoil control. This allows players to quickly draw their sights on the enemy, allowing them to better take out Operators with a single shot in Multiplayer, or with two shots for full-plated opponents in Warzone — perfect for beating the competition on Rebirth Island.

The JAK Lance is an excellent option for players looking to take down opponents in a single shot with speed and precision in Core Multiplayer. However, its small magazine size does limit its versatility quite a bit. With that being the case, players may want to take a weapon from the Handgun category to fall back on in situations where they are unable to reload. The WSP Stinger still shines and is one of the best Handguns in the game, though the Renetti and the COR-45 are also decent considerations.

For Warzone, running a reliable weapon from the Assault Rifle category can keep players covered when they find themselves in long-range gunfights, or quickly swap to when they are unable to pop off a quick reload. The BP50 is currently one of the best Assault Rifles to use, one which can be kitted out for close range with its Aftermarket Part, or built for medium range. Other great options include the MCW, the Holger 556, and the STG44.
