How To Unlock Sam Operator

Like most crossover bundles in Call of Duty, unlocking the Sam Operator involves spending some CoD Points instead of completing specific tasks across multiplayer, zombies, and the battle royale. To add the Sam Operator to the ever-expanding collection, head to the in-game store and spend 2400 CoD Points.

Once purchased, players can select Sam through the Operator tab at the top of the main menu along with the option to select him for use in Modern Warfare 3 or Warzone or both.

Who Is Sam?

Created by director and writer Michael Dougherty, Sam is a character that appeared in Doughterty's Season's Greetings short film that was released in 1996. The character then featured as one of the main protagonists 2007's Trick 'r Treat film. Trick 'r Treat is one of several in-game events taking place as part of The Haunting, Call of Duty's annual Halloween event. Sam is expected to be one of the final crossover skins in the Modern Warfare 3 cycle. Unfortunately, the skin will not carry over to Black Ops 6 multiplayer but players will still have access to them when dropping into Warzone matches.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 continued the trends of crossover skins and other franchises from the world of entertainment entering its universe. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is likely to continue the collaborations as players look to play as their favorite characters from various franchises.
