The release of Season 5 introduced a plethora of new content to both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, including expertly crafted 6v6 maps, powerful new meta weapons like the Static-HV and STG44, and the return of Superstore in Warzone. However, with the end of Season 5 quickly approaching, some players are wondering when it will officially conclude.
Season 5 Reloaded likely still offers plenty of content for players to explore, such as unlocking the Torque 35 through the newly declassified section of the Battle Pass, as well as completing the final Story Mission for Modern Warfare Zombies. But with a new seasonal update on the horizon, the end date for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 5 is sooner than many might expect.

When Does Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone Season 5 End?
Season 5 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will officially end on September 18 at 9 AM PT according to the in-game countdown, which is just a week after the conclusion of Weekend Two of the Black Ops 6 Beta. Players should use this time to claim all their Battle Pass rewards, as they will no longer be accessible once the season ends. Much like previous seasons, all weapons and Aftermarket Parts introduced through either the Battle Pass or Weekly Challenges will move over to the Armory Unlock section for those who have not unlocked them.
Additionally, September 18 marks the release of Season 6, which Activision has confirmed in a Call of Duty blog post to be the final season of Modern Warfare 3. The update will likely introduce several additional weapons to unlock through its Battle Pass, along with including new 6v6 maps for Multiplayer and additional content drops for Warzone. As of right now, it is unlikely that Modern Warfare Zombies will receive any significant updates, but that may change in the future.
Season 6 is also likely to mark the debut of The Haunting Halloween event, which may be released sometime during Season 6's runtime. With it should come a tonne of spooky-themed updates, likely the return of Zombie Royale in Warzone, map changes to Multiplayer and Battle Royale, Halloween-themed cosmetics, and much more. With the Season 6 update, players will also find that all Black Ops 6 Beta content will be uninstalled from their devices if installed through the Call Of Duty HQ, which should free up some much-needed storage space for the updates yet to come.
