Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sees the somewhat adorable Mister Peeks bring back several Perk-a-Colas for the sake of mowing down zombies across the new Urzikstan map. Combining the best elements of DMZ and Outbreak, returning players will want to get their hands on these perks to not only increase their survival chances but also because they are free.
The only problem is that Mister Peeks has hidden the perks in specific locations where each location requires you to complete a unique challenge for the soda reward. These are a bit similar to the Aether Bunny side quest in Black Ops Cold War. For those struggling, here is how you can get all the free perks in Urzikstan.
Modern Warfare 3 Zombies: How to Find and Defeat the Dokkaebi Warlord
Want to find and defeat the latest Warlord in MW3 Zombies? Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing this mission.
How to Get All Free Perks in MW3 Zombies
There are a total of nine free perks that are scattered around the Urzikstan map, all of which require you to complete their individual challenges in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. Remember that each perk will always spawn in the same location, which has been marked on the map above. You only need to make your way to each of those locations and complete an Easter egg to get the perk.
Something else of importance to know is that only one player can get one of the free perks per match. If you are the first player to complete the Quick Revive Perk challenge, for example, no one else will be able to unlock the perk for the duration of the match.
1. Speed Cola Perk
- Coordinates: D2 - 6115.059, 2497.501
There is a large bird-like statue overlooking the Levin Resort in the northwestern section of Urzikstan. Head over there in any vehicle and then drive off the edge (beak) of the statue to spawn a rift with a free Speed Cola Perk.
There are several vehicles parked around the buildings directly south of the statue.
Speed Cola is one of the fastest and easiest perks players can get in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. It makes weapon reloading and armor-replating faster.
2. Death Perception Perk
- Coordinates: E2 - 6327.830, 3845.962
Head over to the Sorokin Industrial area in the northern part of the map to come across three circular statues. The challenge here is to glide through all three rings without touching the ground. For that purpose, you need to climb the tall smokestack northwest of the statues (marked on the map above) to get into position.
Successfully passing through each ring plays an audio cue. Do it for all three and a rift will open to reward the Death Perception Perk. Remember that this Easter egg challenge can be attempted again if failed, so there is no need to worry about completing it the first time.
Slow down your descent to glide through the top-right corner of the first ring. This will make it easier to glide through the remaining two rings.
Drinking the Death Perception Perk allows you to see nearby enemies, chests, items, and resources through walls in MW3 Zombies.
3. Juggernog Perk
- Coordinates: C3 - 5071.084, 2128.649
The Juggernog challenge requires players to have a Molotov or any fire-based lethal equipment, such as a Thermite in Modern Warfare 3. The Molotov is the easiest option here because it is a common item drop from zombies. Keep killing them until one of them drops a Molotov and then head over to the western part of the map, north of the Seaport District.
Modern Warfare 3 Zombies: How to Get Secret Geode MCW Blueprint
Unlocking the secret Geode MCW Blueprint involves a lengthy grinding process; here’s a step-by-step breakdown.
Behind the hub of buildings (cafe and restaurant) will be an unlit campfire that needs to be ignited using the Molotov. That will spawn another rift nearby with another free perk.
There is a chance that the Juggernog location comes in a tier-two zone, meaning that the zombies here will be much faster and have a lot more health.
The Juggernog Perk increases your total health, which makes it a fine perk to pair with the best close-quarter weapons in the game.
4. Deadshot Daiquiri Perk
- Coordinates: I3 - 5329.484, 6568.552
There is an abandoned church on a hill southeast of the Orlov Military Base that you need to go to for another free perk in MW3 Zombies. Make sure to have a Grenade or Semtex because you need to throw it into the top-most window of the church as shown in the image above. You can stand on the gravestone next to the church to make the throw easier.
If done right, a rift will open near you once the lethal explodes. If not, you can try again by refilling your lethals from the nearby Ammo Cache.
Aim a bit higher to get the right trajectory. The Grenade will fall short if you are aiming directly at the window.
Deadshot Daiquiri is easily one of the best perks to get in Modern Warfare 3. It increases the critical hit damage done to any enemies you come across while aiming down your sight.
5. Quick Revive Perk
- Coordinates: H5 - 3438.586, 6117.557
The Quick Revive challenge is a short race that you need to win in about 10 seconds. For that reason, you will need to get hold of either an ATV or a Motorcycle since they are the fastest vehicles in Modern Warfare 3. Once you find one, follow the highway south towards the Hadiqa Farms until you come across a large road sign as shown in the image above.
Stop your ATV/Motorcycle right beneath it and wait for a few seconds until an audio cue (demonic laugh) plays. That is when you hit the pedal and race down the highway until the next road sign. Cross it and a rift should open to reward you with a free Quick Revive Perk. If you fail, head back to the first road sign and start again.
If you are running short on gas, continue south on the highway for a little bit, and you will find a gas station on your right.
The Quick Revive Perk allows you to regenerate health and revive allies faster by 50%.
6. Free Stamin-Up Perk
- Coordinates: D7 - 2229.949, 2634.885
Head to the location marked on the map above to find a tall, white skyscraper in Zaravan City. It's hard to miss. Enter and find the staircase on the right. What you need to do next is climb/sprint up all 15 floors to reach the roof as fast as possible.
Zombies will start spawning in the stairwell after you reach floor 10. Make sure to not get blocked by them. If you manage to reach the roof within a hidden time limit, a rift will open that contains a free Stamin-Up Perk.
Pull out your sidearm (pistol) to run faster. You can also drop your weapons to complete this Easter egg challenge hands-free.
Drinking the free Stamin-Up Perk gives your running and sprinting speed a massive boost, which can be very helpful when trying to get away from the MW3 Zombies.
7. Tombstone Perk
- Coordinates: G7 - 1637.422, 4987.366
There are two things that you should know before starting the Tombstone Perk challenge. Firstly, this Easter egg requires a sniper rifle with a high-powered scope. Secondly, it involves a jumpscare, which acts as a throwback to the earlier days of Zombies.
Modern Warfare 3 Zombies: How To Get The Ray Gun
The Ray Gun has returned in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Here’s everything players need to know about finding this wonder weapon.
When ready, head to the Zaravan Suburbs on the southern border of Urzikstan. Find the unfinished building (marked on the map above) and climb up to its roof. Use your high-powered scope to look towards the giant yellow crane in the southern mountains. You will barely be able to see Mister Peeks around the mid-level walkway. Keep your crosshair on the bunny for a few seconds to trigger a jumpscare, which will then reward you with a Tombstone Perk.
There is a second crane here in the opposite direction within the city. Ignore that one.
The Tombstone Perk allows you to recover your backpack inventory in the next match from the same location where you died. This, however, does not keep your Pack-a-Punched weapons.
8. PHD Flopper Perk
- Coordinates: H7 - 1786.391, 6065.849
Head to the Shahin Manor in the southeastern corner of the map, a location with lots of lucrative loot items, and find your way to its roof. Then climb on top of the wooden beams (rafters) that are overlooking the swimming pool below. What you need to do is jump from the edge of the rafters while sprinting and dolphin dive (hold Circle/B) into the water. If you hear a laugh, another rift will spawn to give you a free PHD Flopper Perk.
If you do not know how to dolphin dive, jump from the edge and open your parachute to cover some ground before cutting the chute to drop into the pool. You only need to free-fall into the waters on the right edge of the pool.
PHD Flopper provides a lot of bonuses. You become immune to all area-of-effect damage from weapons you are using. You also become immune to fall damage while diving. Lastly, dolphin diving triggers an explosion.
9. Elemental Pop Perk
Elemental Pop is the strongest free perk in MW3 Zombies, which is perhaps why it remains hidden to date. It gives you a random chance to apply one of the Ammo Mods (Brain Rot, Cyro Freeze, Dead Wire, Napalm Burst, Shatter Blast) in the game to every bullet fired.
Some players have managed to get the perk by accident, but no one is certain on how to complete its Easter egg. One theory suggests that you have to be in a High Threat level zone, but again, no one knows what steps you need to follow for the perk.
There is also a chance that the perk is bugged. Perhaps more clues will be revealed when the next seasonal update arrives.
