Where to Find The Houseboat Key in DMZ

Finding the Houseboat key in DMZ isn’t simple, as it drops at various locations on the map alongside other keys. Luckily, there are numerous ways to find the Houseboat key, including:

Loot: Players can earn the Houseboat key by looting crates, medicine cabinets, and items dropped by AI when they’re defeated. Loot as much as possible to gain cash and other keys, such as the Bike Parking key.
Security Checkpoint Mission: Players who complete the Security Point Mission earn a Houseboat key and 7,500 XP. The key is in pristine condition, which means players can use it for 3 purposes.
HVT Mission: This mission rewards players with a random key of any location, so it’s worth completing to get the Houseboat key.
Buildings: Buildings in Vondel will likely contain the Houseboat key, so players should search them.

It's important to note that the Houseboat key doesn’t drop in a specific location, and players must keep looting, searching, and completing missions to find it. Finding it may take a few tries, but this shouldn’t discourage players if they spend time in Vondel completing missions and collecting loot.

How to Use The Houseboat Key

After acquiring the Houseboat key, players can head to the fire department in Vondel at the C5 sector of the map to find the Houseboat. It’s brown, numbered 28, and has patio furniture on the roof. The Houseboat key can be used to open the locked door and access the Houseboat.

Inside, there will be orange supply crates with cash and another key. Loot these items, as they’ll be helpful for game progression, and players may find other keys like the Factory Admin Key in the Koschei Complex.
