There are a number of potential solutions to stop the Puget-Lakes error from ruining Warzone on a regular basis. Before attempting any workarounds, it's important to check if the Call of Duty servers are working as intended.

To check the Warzone server status, head to the Activision website to see if they're working as intended. If they are, then it's time to follow the next steps.

Router Reset

The first port of call is to restart the router that your PC or console connects to. Although it's a simple solution, a full reboot clears the cache of the router in addition to any corrupted data that could cause the Puget-Lakes error to appear in Warzone.

To do this, switch the router off, and leave it off for at least 30 seconds. Then, switch it back on and load up Warzone to see if the error has disappeared.

License Restoration

This fix is one for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users. There's a chance the Puget-Lakes error occurs when some of the files are corrupted.

Usually, rebooting the console fixes the problem, but there are some cases where players will need to restore their licenses.

For PS4 users, open Settings, head to Account Management, find the Restore Licenses option, and follow the prompts to complete the restoration.

Those on PS5 can restore licenses by highlighting the Call of Duty game tile, pressing the Options button on the controller, and selecting the Restore Licenses option.

How To Change ISP

As a last resort, switching to another ISP (Internet Service Provider) could solve the problem. If a second connection isn't available, players can connect their PC or console to a mobile hotspot to diagnose any potential faults.

If the battle royale works without issue on another connection, then the Puget-Lakes error appears when connected to the primary provider. If a reset hasn't fixed the issue, players will need to reach out to their ISP support team for some assistance.

Call of Duty: Warzone has a wealth of errors. Thankfully, the Puget-Lakes error can be rectified, allowing players to get back into the action as fast as possible.
