Call of Duty: Warzone has seen a massive resurgence in content with Season 3, bringing Verdansk back in all its glory and allowing players to drop into the nostalgic battleground in 150-player Battle Royale and Plunder action. Alongside the return of fan-favorite weapons, players interested in solving secrets will be pleased to know that Verdansk now features its own set of Easter Eggs.
Season 3 Reloaded introduces a variety of side Easter Eggs that players can uncover across Verdansk; some of which are familiar to long-time fans, while others are entirely new. One such mystery involves a locked door in Storage Town, which requires a bit of exploration to access. Here's how players can unlock the Storage Town secret door in Call of Duty: Warzone.
CoD Warzone: Best Meta Loadouts For Season 3
The meta has shifted for Call of Duty: Warzone, allowing certain weapons to rank better than others. Here's the best meta loadouts to use in Warzone.
Step 1: Where To Find The Mysterious Key On Verdansk
The first step to opening the locked room at Storage Town is finding the Mysterious Key. This elusive item is located far east of the Quarry in the out-of-bounds mountainous region of the map.
Upon heading here, players must locate an orange sleeping bag, interact with it to drop the Mysterious Key, and quickly pick it up. However, speed is crucial here, as players only have 10 seconds in the out-of-bounds zone before they are eliminated and sent to the Gulag.
Step 2: How To Open The Locked Door At Storage Town In Warzone
Now that players have the Mysterious Key, they can head over to Storage Town to locate the locked door. The door in question is found over at Building 28, which is located on the north side of Storage Town. With the key in hand, players can then unlock and open the door.
However, upon doing so, players are advised to be cautious and not rush into the room, as there are two tripwires inside: one just in front of the entrance and another in front of a Supply Crate at the far end of the room. Players can approach each tripwire and interact with it to safely disarm it.
Once the room is secure, players can then loot the Supply Crate at the far end for cash and items, though the loot itself is not of the highest rarity. There’s also a piece of intel sitting on a computer desk to the left of the crate, which players can read. Beyond that, those are the only tangible rewards found inside the room.
