The world of Call of Duty: Warzone has fully embraced spooky season. As part of the Season 6 update for the battle royale, The Haunting event from Raven Software is back much to the delight of fans dropping into the action. In addition to the appearances of Art the Clown and Michael Myers, the update also introduced the brand-new Purgatory mode.
Rather than being the last one standing, Purgatory is a sandbox mode where players can spend up to two hours eliminating other players, exploring everything the island has to offer, and earning plenty of XP to unlock the coveted Constellation's End weapon camouflage. Here, find out how to score kills using the Terriball in Warzone.
New Call of Duty: Warzone Map Could Feature a Black Ops 4 Throwback
A new Call of Duty: Warzone leak suggests that one of the most beloved aspects of Black Ops 4 could make a return in the near future.
CoD Warzone Terriball Location
Upon landing on Purgatory Island, finding a Terriball to score some eliminations with can be tricky as their location doesn't appear on the minimap. To make it even more confusing, they look extremely similar to the portals that sling players high into the skies above.
Terriballs are dark red spheres that don't glow in the same way as the portals. Their exact locations are totally random, meaning players will have to explore the island in order to find one. To spot them easily, shoot them to see if they move.
How To Get Kills
The best places to score kills with the Terriball in Warzone is by pushing it into narrow chokepoints on the map. For example, the Harbor and the dock located near Industries are the ideal places as there's no way for the opposition to escape from the ball's pathway.
After finding a Terriball, move it to one of the locations listed above and down any opponents that are nearby. Players can use the Terriball to finish them off rather than having to down and eliminate them.
The Terriball can be pushed out of bounds but it will return to a nearby location so players can retrieve it without having to explore the island for a second time. It can also deal damage to the player in control of it so shoot it from close range or use walking speed to maintain control of it.
The Purgatory Island event features a total of two challenges involving the Terriball. The first requires players to score 50 Mercenary kills while the second involves scoring three Operator kills.
Using a Terriball is one of the more unique methods of scoring kills in Call of Duty: Warzone matches. With a bit of precision and patience, players can score plenty of kills in no time at all.
