Unlike the first installment, Code Vein 2 has a massive map that players can explore freely after completing the tutorial. Some areas and dungeons in this soulslike are not accessible right from the start, so players will need to progress further in the story to reach them.
One of the main regions in the game, the Undead Forest, is where players can find the Hero Holly. As the game does not mention the exact path you need to take to reach the region, players might find it confusing to find the entrance to the forest. Here is where players need to go in Code Vein 2.

How to Reach Undead Forest in Code Vein 2
Soon after the Noah arc, players will be able to ride the motorcycle, which they can use to explore the map much more easily. Your main objective is to find the heroes, all of whom are located in different regions. You can choose to complete any hero questline first, but sooner or later, you will have to go to the Undead Forest, and getting there might be a bit confusing.
Upon destroying the horrors that shroud the map, which are also marked on your map, you will spot a highway to the west that extends to the northwest part of the map, where the Undead Forest is located. The only problem with this route is that at the end of the path, you will find a tunnel that has caved in, and there are no other roads leading into the Undead Forest.
Even if you have the 2187 Free Exploration unlocked, you will not be able to go through the tunnel; while the debris will not be there, a field will block the path because the area has not yet been explored.
Instead, you need to go to the Collapsed Tunnel in the present. This is located to the east of the highway that leads to the blocked tunnel, or north of Josee's Outpost. Head inside, and you will find a Mistle and a linear path that leads you to the Undead Forest, where you will begin your search for the Hero Holly.
Most of the areas in the Undead Forest will be inaccessible until you return to the present and visit three different locations within the region.
