Several months ago, the PlayStation Store offered Remedy Entertainment's Control for $23.99 or 60% off its original price for the PS4. Now, the game is discounted once again, which reduces Control's price to the lowest it's ever been, making it a must-buy for players who have been waiting to try out the game.

Right now, PS4 players can get Control for a cheap price of $19.79, which is 67% off its original price of $59.99. Of course, given that Control was just released last year. To the uninitiated, Control is an action-adventure game released by Remedy Entertainment and puts players in the shoes of Jesse, who finds herself trapped inside the Federal Bureau of Control, and organization tasked to contain and supervise supernatural phenomena.

Apart from being one of the most critically-acclaimed games of 2019, Control also won several awards in various gaming categories. Moreover, Remedy Entertainment also released Control's first-ever DLC expansion called The Foundation to the PC and PS4 last March, and players on the Xbox One will get their hands on the DLC today, June 25. In The Foundation DLC, players will be able to explore new locations such as the underground layer of the Oldest House, hence the title The Foundation. The DLC expansion's story revolves around the damage of a device called the Monolith, causing the Astral Plane to be leaked into the physical world.

Immediately after the big PlayStation 5 reveal event earlier this month, Remedy Entertainment revealed that Control will be released to the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, Remedy did not indicate a specific release date, which is why it is a mystery whether the game would launch alongside the next-generation consoles. As to what is next for the franchise, a recent job listing hints that a sequel to Control is already in the works. The job listing is searching for a Senior Producer "for a key role working on Remedy's Control franchise." Of course, this could be for the purposes of the PS5 version of the game, but some fans are hoping that the listing is a hint that a sequel is currently being developed. As of the moment, Remedy Entertainment still hasn't announced any official plans for Control 2.

Control is available now for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and is also slated to release for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
