On the heels of Sony's PlayStation 5 reveal event, several developers have unveiled new games for the console. While excited gamers might be more focused on the PS5's exclusives, many of the PS4's games will also be making the leap to the next generation. For example, Remedy Entertainment announced on Twitter that its hit game Control will come to the PlayStation 5.

In its announcement, the developer promised that Control  is not only coming to the PS5, but also to its rival, the Xbox Series X. However, the tweet only said that more details are forthcoming. In the replies, many Twitter users expressed excitement and promised to replay Control when it released.

Other Twitter users noted that both the PS5 and Xbox Series X support ray tracing, which Control  used on PC. From these details, it is likely that the game's visuals will receive an upgrade. Interestingly, one prevalent response to the announcement was about Control's Xbox Series X release instead. Specifically, several tweets asked Remedy Entertainment to add support for the Smart Delivery feature. For now, however, the developer has not revealed any specific features or enhancements.

While   fans are understandably hyped for this announcement, they should also keep their eyes on Remedy's future projects. Recent reports indicate that the developer is working on two new Epic Games Store exclusives alongside DLC for Control Either way, Remedy's future seems bright.

Control  is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
