When the skill is active, she will fly into the air and rain down a shower of cherry blossoms that deal damage to enemies in the area while also increasing the attack of her teammates. Next is a Cookie that has a special dragon companion who does most of the heavy lifting. Royal Margarine Cookie’s special attacks revolve around him teaming up with his dragon pet, Buttercream. When his Buttercream Blast skill is active, Royal Margarine Cookie will ride on Buttercream’s back as the dragon fires into the enemy team. Buttercream will target the three enemies with the highest attack. He will also target boss characters before anyone else. Not only that, but Buttercream's attack will reduce the enemy's attack and defense, poison them, and amplify any debuffs.

This is only the first part of Buttercream’s attack, as he will also use Wyvern Swoop, wherein he swoops close to the enemy team and deals damage. Royal Margarine Cookie might not be the strongest Ambush Cookie, but his unique nature and relationship with Buttercream the Dragon make him a valuable team member.

Though small in stature, Sorbet Shark Cookie is a force to be reckoned with as an Ambush type. This little shark merperson has a special skill and a Magic Candy Skill, both of which are strong and can make all the difference in a fight.

The Shark Splash is Sorbet Shark Cookie’s main skill, and when active, they will turn into a shark and attack the enemies in the front line, dishing out Water-type area damage and additional damage to the two enemies with the highest maximum health within the affected area.

When Sorbet Shark Cookie’s Magic Candy skill is upgraded, the little shark will lash out with a bite that deals extra damage and gives enemies the Injury debuff. Enemies will also have their healing reduced. For a Water-type Cookie that does plenty of damage, and can be upgraded to do even more so, Sorbet Shark Cookie is a great Ambush Cookie.

Much like Sorbet Shark Cookie, Black Raisin Cookie is an Ambush character with a regular skill and a Magic Candy skill. With both abilities, she deals Darkness damage and applies Consuming darkness to her foes. With her Shadow Watcher skill, Black Raisin Cookie disappears into the shadows and reappears among the enemy team. She strikes them repeatedly and deals Darkness damage in the area while applying Consuming Darkness, which reduces the enemy's critical chance and healing.

When Black Raisin Cookie’s Sentinel’s Strike Magic Candy ability is unlocked, she does even more damage. Her critical damage is also increased, as is the area radius of her attack when she lands a critical hit. Black Raisin is the perfect example of a sneaky assassin who can get behind enemy lines and cause trouble.

Blood Sucker

As his name suggests, Vampire Cookie is all about using his vampire powers to drain enemies and strengthen himself. His Vampirism skill allows him to turn into a bat and fly into the enemy team, attacking the enemy in the rear and consuming their blood. Vampire Cookie can restore his health with this ability too, though it will depend on the amount of damage caused by his bite.

When upgraded to Fatal Bite with Magic Candy, Vampire Cookie applies the Vampiric Bite debuff to enemies targeted with Vampirism. Those that have this debuff will always receive a critical hit when attacked. With Fatal Bite, Vampire Cookie can regain health faster, as his regular attacks target the three closest enemies. If leveled up, Vampire Cookie can not only become very powerful and take out enemies with a single bite, but he also restores his health quickly, making him a versatile Ambush type.

Rebel Cookie is a bit of an outsider of an Ambush Cookie, as he is also well-versed in magic. This makes him a versatile character who can use his magic along with his Ambush skills to cause tons of damage and dispel negative effects on his enemies.

When using his special skill, Rebel Cookie utilizes his magic to lower the defenses of the enemies while also causing damage and making them vulnerable to all kinds of damage. While their defenses are lowered, enemies receive more damage. Rebel Cookie can also buff his allies with his special ability, as he creates an HP shield around them and increases their critical attack chance. As his skill comes to an end, Rebel Cookie unleashes two decoys that will attack enemies and knock them back.

Due to just how versatile Rebel Cookie is, as he can buff and protect his allies, do damage, and debuff enemies, he is one of the most noteworthy Ambush Cookies found in Cookie Run: Kingdom.

Stardust Cookie is a celestial being created from nameless starlight infused with “imperfect” Cookie dough, making him a pretty unique character. He is also a strong Ambush Cookie with a special skill that is particularly versatile.

When using his Wrath of the Stars special, Stardust Cookie flies above the enemy team. From a distance, he marks the opponent with the highest attack with a debuff called Sign of the Stars. The target with this debuff can’t be buffed by allies, will receive more damage, and has their healing and attack decreased. They will also fall Asleep if they receive a critical hit. Even when Sign of the Stars is dispelled, the target and any enemies close by will be hit by damage. This isn’t all that Stardust Cookie can do with his special skill, as when he descends from the sky, he amplifies enemy debuffs and deals damage in the area. For a versatile Cookie that can easily apply various debuffs while causing damage, Stardust Cookie is the perfect choice.

One of the most powerful Ambush Cookies in the game is the Legendary Black Pearl Cookie, a cruel mermaid who revels in sinking ships (though she has a tragic backstory that explains her evil ways). Despite her despicable nature, there is no doubt that she is a highly powerful Cookie who can overwhelm enemy teams with ease thanks to her strong special abilities.

Black Pearl Cookie transforms into her true form of a giant sea tyrant when her special skill activates, which applies the Terror of the Abyss debuff and makes enemies terrified. She then creates a Whirlpool on the battlefield that pulls enemies in and deals damage. Enemies that are resistant to interruptions are also affected by the Whirlpool and will have their healing, movement speed, attack damage, and attack speed reduced.

If players upgrade and equip her Crystal Jam skill - Duskgloom Hatred - Black Pearl Cookie will continuously decrease the enemy attack and begin to stack up her Hatred. When she has maximum Hatred stacks, she becomes even stronger. Players can increase the amount of Hatred stacks she has with each teammate that falls in battle, as she grows stronger as her party is defeated (in true tyrannical fashion). Not only that, but she will also be able to trap her victims within a Water Cage, which does damage, and create a Tornado that appears within the Whirlpool to do even more damage.

Black Pearl Cookie isn’t as versatile as some of the other Ambush Cookies, as she can’t support her allies, but she wins the top spot because, when fully upgraded, she becomes a truly unstoppable force who can become stronger even as her allies fall. As a damaging Ambush type, no other Cookie does it better than Black Pearl Cookie.
