Steel is one of the main elements in Cookie Run Kingdom, and only a handful of fighters actually use its power. After the Catacombs of Silence update, two new steel-type heroes joined the ever-growing squad, namely, Silent Salt and Salt Cellar.
Salt Cellar might only be an Epic by rarity, but it can easily be one of the best cookies for defense, especially for players without Ancient or Beast fighters in their teams. It also combos well with Silent Salt. This guide goes over Salt Cellar’s abilities and explains how to set it up to last longer and help the whole team in combat.
Salt Cellar Cookie Skills and Abilities in Cookie Run Kingdom, Explained
Being responsible for guarding the crew, Salt Cellar takes charge on the frontlines during battles. When her ultimate isn’t active, she fights using her staff, but once it triggers, she invites four Kala Namak (black salt) knights onto the warzone. These knights charge at enemies, dealing 382.2% damage based on her ATK stats, and slam them back a few steps.
Once they’ve taken three hits, the knights go all out with Strike of Solidarity, stunning foes for a second and hitting them for 199.5% of Salt Cellar’s ATK. On top of that, she gives shields to herself and her team to block incoming attacks and keeps the team covered from the Mark of Kala Namak effect.
When summoned with the Silent Salt Cookie, her skill gets even stronger, thanks to Remembrance of Solidarity, where she basically gains extra damage resistance, can summon two more knights, heals when a knight falls, and picks up a few more buffs to really hold her ground.
Best Toppings, Tarts, and Beascuits for Salt Cellar Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom
Salt Cellar’s build is pretty situational, and you can tweak toppings and tarts depending on what you want to focus on. If you want the summoned knights to do more damage, increase Salt Cellar’s ATK with Searing Raspberry toppings and Searing Raspberry M Tart.
To make the knights attack faster, use Bouncy Caramel toppings or Bouncy Caramel M Tart, since their speed is based on Salt Cellar’s ATK SPD and DEF (the latter will be raised with beascuits).
Her skill cooldown is 14 seconds, which can feel long, so Swift Chocolate toppings and Swift Chocolate M Tart help with that. If you want to protect her from debuffs in harder fights, you can go for a Fresh Kiwi build. Here’s a list of the best toppings and tarts for the Star Cellar cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom:

From our experience, we don’t recommend going all-in with just one type of topping. It’s better to balance cooldown and attack (or whichever stat you prefer). For example, three Blooming Swift Chocolates and two Bouncy Caramel or Raspberry Searing toppings work well, along with a Raspberry Searing M Tart.
This steel-type cookie gets a big boost to her damage resistance when you use beascuits with high DEF stats. Keeping that in mind, the best beascuit for Salt Cellar in Cookie Run Kingdom is a Legendary Hard Beascuit with all defense stats. If it doesn’t have DEF, you can reset it using Radiant Biscuit Dough.
