Cookie Run: Kingdom is home to a wide variety of cookies, each capable of helping out their team in a different way to overcome the numerous enemies in the game, including monstrous bosses that appear in different shapes and have access to unique attack types.

To better realize how each cookie works within a squad, they are categorized into different roles. Ranged cookies are the ones that stand in the farthest line of a squad from the enemies but still manage to deal devastating damage. Wind Archer Cookie is a Legendary ranged hero, and he is a solid choice for any player who is looking for more damage-dealers than healers in the rear lane. For those looking to make the most of this hero, here's a rundown on the best Wind Archer builds in Cookie Run: Kingdom.

Wind Archer Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom

Homing in the rear lane, Wind Archer Cookie has a pretty safe place against enemies. He has three iconic attacks that are performed during his transformation. The first attack is the Arrow of Gale, which pushes back all the enemies in its path, stuns them, and then applies the Trace of the Wind and Pursuer debuffs to them.

Near the end of his transformed state, Wind Archer Cookie will shoot Pursuer's Arrow, attacking up to 5 enemies in its path and applying the Trace of the Wind and Pursuer debuffs. The Pursuer debuff can stack up to three times, and once it reaches the third stack, it causes an explosion that deals damage to the targets proportional to 10% of their Max HP.

It's also worth noting that Wind Archer Cookie applies Mighty Gale buff to himself after shooting Pursuer's Arrow. The buff increases the cookie's attack and the damage bypass resistance against enemies.

Last but not least, Wind Archer's most devastating attack is Last Wind. This shot ignores 40% of the targets' damage resist and deals damage equal to 470% of the cookie's ATK stat. Each stack of Mighty Gale buff will add another 50% to the overall damage dealt by Last Wind.

  • Basic Stats
    • Max HP: +30%
    • Transformation: 11 sec
    • Tailwind: DEF +15%, ATK SPD +10% for 10 sec with regular attacks: stacks up to 5 times.
  • Arrow of Gale
    • DMG: 182.5% of ATK, ignores 40% of target's DMG Resist.
    • Stun: 2.5 sec
    • Trace of the Wind: Damage received by Wind-type cookies -30%, and damage received by other cookies -12%. Lasts for 30 sec and doesn't stack.
    • Might Gale: DMG Resist Bypass +2%, ATK +1.5%. Lasts 8 sec and stacks up to 15 times.
  • Pursuer's Arrow
    • DMG: 46.2% of ATK plus 9.4% of target's HP.
    • Pursuer: Lasts 7 sec. Stacks up to 3 times.
    • Pursuer DMG: 10.5% of Max HP (Cookies), 166.3% of ATK (other enemies).
    • Pursuer Area DMG: 219.7% of ATK
    • Pursuer Cooldown: 1 sec
    • Trace of the Wind: Damage received by Wind-type cookies -8%, and damage received by other cookies -7%. Lasts for 12 sec and doesn't stack.
  • Last Wind
    • DMG: 472.6% of ATK plus 50.3% extra DMG per each stack of Might Gale buff. Ignores 40% of the target's DMG Resist.
    • Cyclone Duration: 2.5 sec. Ignores the enemy's Debuff Resist.

It's worth noting that, when Wind Archer Cookie is transformed, he will be immune to any debuffs except for Curse. This immunity will not cover any other cookie in the squad, but it is quite beneficial for Wind Archer, as most of the status effects are unable to prevent him from shooting his Pursuer or Last Wind arrows.

Wind Archer Cookie Raspberry Topping Build - Cookie Run Kingdom

When it comes to the toppings, a variety of combinations can be used to help Wind Archer perform better on the battlefield. A full build of Searing Raspberry is a good option to maximize the damage output with a 45% boost. On the other hand, a 5-stack build of Swift Chocolate can also significantly reduce the cooldown, pushing it down to only 4 seconds.

Both of these builds sound effective, but a combination of both is proven to be more successful. The main problem with a 5-stack Swift Chocolate build is that the amount of Cooldown Reduction gained with the fourth and fifth toppings is negligible. As such, it's best to replace the two remaining slots with the Searing Raspberry.

On the other hand, Wind Archer Cookie can already gain a good amount of ATK boost from its beascuit, and this lets the player compensate for the missing Searing Raspberry slots by simply upgrading the beascuit.

With 2x Searing Raspberry and 3x Swift Chocolate, the cookie's cooldown will go down to 5 seconds, while an 18% ATK boost will also result from the toppings.

Wind Archer Cookie Bouncy Caramel Build - Cookie Run Kingdom

Since the default cooldown for the Wind Archer cookie is not as big as the other cookies, it's still a viable option to completely ignore Swift Chocolate and go for a Bouncy Caramel build. Knowing that extra ATK stats can already be gained via beascuit, a full stack of Bouncy Caramel toppings at the highest level will add over 20% to Wind Archer's ATK SPD.

With Bouncy Caramel, Wind Archer will shoot its arrows at a faster pace than before, and this will leave smaller gaps between each arrow type. Other than that, the players will get to deal more damage in the same amount of time that Wind Archer is not under cooldown.

In between, the fully upgraded toppings will also come with a bunch of random boosts. If you get lucky, you might actually receive some Cooldown Reduction buffs as well, on top of the ATK SPD boost.

Wind Archer Cookie Beascuit Build - Cookie Run Kingdom

Speaking of beascuits, Wind Archer Cookie can only benefit from Light Beascuit. Of course, the higher the rarity, the bigger the stat boosts. Common beascuits only grant 1 random stat buff, while Legendary ones give 4 random boosters. So, it's possible to gain some additional stats through the beascuits, especially ones that improve Cooldown even more to help the Swift Chocolate toppings.

Regardless of the beascuit's rarity, it is essential to upgrade it as much as possible. Every beascuit comes with buffs for ATK and HP, and the former is the exact boost that Searing Raspberry grants as well. Each level-up buffs the aforementioned stats by 0.5%. So, having a beascuit of level 10 at least guarantees nearly 10% of a boost for both ATK and HP, which is almost equal to the stats provided by one fully upgraded Searing Raspberry topping.

Wind Archer Cookie Companions - Cookie Run Kingdom

Since Wind Archer is solely a damage dealer and does not provide any significant service for the rest of the allies, it is strongly recommended to pair it with a support or healer cookie in the rear lane. Pure Vanilla, Mystic Flour, and Peppermint are some of the cookies that can cover the squad's need for a healer.

When it comes to the middle lane, it's best to use cookies that can stun the enemies, buying time for both Wind Archer and front-line damage dealers. Cookies like Frost Queen, White Lily, and Sea Fairy are ideal picks for the middle lane.

The formation of the front lane doesn't really have a strong effect on Wind Archer's performance, but any cookie that can deal a whole lot of damage while also absorbing a good amount of hits would be crucial to keep the cookies in the back line safe. As such, Charge or Defense cookies are ideal picks. Having one of each is also a balanced combination.
