Dark Cacao is a Charge-type Ancient Cookie who fights from the front lines. He’s one of the five Ancient Heroes in Cookie Run: Kingdom’s lore and a solid tank if built right. His main skill, Dark Blade, lets him use his Grapejam Chocoblade to land heavy hits on enemies. Not only does this deal great damage, but it also lowers the enemy’s Attack and Defense stats for a short time. On top of that, he gives enemies a Consuming Darkness debuff, which cuts down their Critical Hits and Healing ability. Plus, Dark Cacao’s attack zaps enemies, breaking their HP shield and lowering their max HP—making it easier for your other Cookies to finish the fight.

Currently, Dark Cacao Cookie doesn’t have its own special Resonant Topping, so you’ll need to stick with the regular ones. The best topping build depends on your team’s strategy. So, if you already have strong attackers on the front and middle lines, go with Epic Solid Almond toppings. These increase his damage resistance, giving him more time to stay in the fight and make full use of his skills.

If you’d rather boost his offense, Searing Raspberry can also be a solid pick to increase his attack power. But if you're not sticking to a specific strategy, Swift Chocolate is easily one of the best toppings for Dark Cacao in Cookie Run: Kingdom. It lowers his cooldown so he can use his skill more often.
