Coral Island is a tropical farming simulator, quite similar to Stardew Valley. It features the same mechanics of farming and crafting and gives players complete freedom to design and build the perfect farm. Players can craft a variety of items by following their specific crafting recipe. These items can be used to decorate the new islander’s farm or process raw materials into artisan products.
Anything can be crafted in Coral Island if players have the necessary materials in their inventory. When they begin the game, players only know seven makeshift crafting recipes, but as they gain skills and develop friendships with the people of the island, they can unlock more crafting recipes.
How to Craft Items in Coral Island
To instantly access the crafting menu in Coral Island, players need to press the “T” button on their keyboard. Alternatively, they can open any in-game menu and click on the tab with the hammer and axe symbol.
The crafting menu displays all the recipes a player currently knows. Each recipe requires certain ingredients that will be consumed during the crafting process. Crafting recipes that have all the necessary ingredients will be filled in, while those that are missing any ingredients will appear faded out.
Players can hover their cursor over the crafting recipe to see the item’s description and the materials required to craft it. If they own all the necessary materials, players can simply click on the item’s icon to craft it. The newly crafted item will then appear in the first available slot in the player’s inventory.
Crafting in Coral Island doesn’t take long; all items are crafted instantly and are ready to be placed wherever the player wants.
As they level up skills and build deeper friendships with the residents of Starlet Town, players will get access to more crafting recipes. For instance, when players reach Farming Level 6, they unlock the crafting recipe for Kegs.
